BA LLB Hons at NLU Assam Offline Course

National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam offers B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Five Year Integrated Course, which is spread across ten (10) semesters. Social Sciences and Humanities subjects like Economics, English, History, Political Science and Sociology are integrated with Law subjects. The course consists of 18 Core Papers, 4 Clinical Papers, 6 Optional Papers and 8 Specialization Papers in Law along with 20 papers on Social Sciences and Humanities. 

The teaching methodology includes extensive and intensive classroom teaching. Emphasis is laid on participative and interactive method of teaching and learning. The University follows a multi-disciplinary and wholesome approach to teaching and research. The University promotes academic flexibility by offering choice based credit system whereby students can opt for subjects they are interested in from the array of subjects offered by the University in an academic year. Students can also earn additional credits over the mandated credits of the course by opting for additional papers, seminar papers etc. The teaching methodology is designed to include classroom assignments, seminars, assignments, quizzes and project work in each subject. To establish an effective teaching-learning relationship between the faculty members and the students, the faculty members provide self-prepared course material to the students at the beginning of each semester.
