NLU Assam Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

NLU Assam placement cell provides training to the students on personality development and communication skills and helps them prepare better for the recruitment process. Check the highlights about National Law University and Judicial Academy placements below. 

• Placement at National Law University and Judicial Academy Assam: As per the NIRF report 2025, the median package for the BA LLB and LLM course was Rs 8.90 LPA and Rs 1.80 LPA, respectively. 
• In 2024, out of 58 students, 18 were placed as per the NLUJAA BA LLB placement report. 
• NLU Assam LLM Placements: 6 students were placed with NLU Assam median salary being Rs 1.80 LPA in 2024.

As per the National Law University and Judicial Academy Guwahati placement report (NIRF 2025), 18 students got placed out of 58 eligible students. While 16 students opted out of NLU Assam placements and pursued higher studies after BA LLB programme. The median package offered at National Law University and Judicial Academy in the year 2024 ranged from Rs 1.80 LPA to Rs 8.90 LPA, depending on the course selected by the students.

NLUJAA placement cell also conducts mock tests and practice session classes on Aptitude, Quantitative Ability, Logic and Reasoning to make students practise and get better before appearing for the final Interview and written test. • The Training and Placement Cell sends invitations to recruiting companies for campus recruitment.

• National Law University and Judicial Academy placement cell then fix the dates with various recruiters based on the salary packages and other eligibility criteria offered by the recruitment companies.

• Interested students have to register their names and share their respective resumes with the NLUJAA placement cell.

• Students are given pre-placement talks by different recruiting companies to make them aware of the policies, roles and job profiles offered by them.

• Eligible candidates also have to appear and qualify for the written test, group discussion and interview round.

• After clearing the written test, students have to qualify for the group discussion round where they have to speak on topics decided by the recruiters to judge the communication and speaking skills of students

• Further, students have to clear various rounds of Interviews.

• Based on the performance of students of NLUJAA in the written test, GD round and interview students will be offered placements in different companies with varying salary packages.
