NLU Assam Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

NLU Assam (NLUJAA) provides hostel facilities to the boys' students. Wardens are available to take care of all the activities of hostel students. Recreational facilities are also available for the students.

The university provides separate accommodation to the girls' students. All the hostel rooms are provided with basic furniture and facilities. Mess facilities are also available for hostellers that serve good quality and hygienic food to students.

There is a health centre provided inside the campus which has well-trained medical doctors to provide medical treatment to students and staff.

The library is well equipped with textbooks, reference books, back volumes of journals and reports covering various aspects of the law. It also has a collection of books and other materials on research, general reference, and current awareness. The library also subscribes to e-resources. Other services like printing, scanning and binding are also available inside the library.

NLUJAA provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students so that they are involved in some extracurricular activities. Games such as football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, carrom and other sports are available.

The university has a well-maintained IT infrastructure that looks after all the network-related issues for the campus. Computers are also available with the latest software and hardware that students can use.

NLU Assam (NLUJAA) cafeteria serves healthy and hygienic food to the students, staff and faculty members. The food and beverages are served at an affordable price.

National Law University and Judicial Academy auditorium is well equipped with all modern facilities where conferences and presentations are conducted. The university also uses the conference hall for conducting mock group discussions, personal interviews and quiz sessions, debates, declamations and other activities.

NLUJAA provides internet facilities to the whole campus. Students, staff and faculty members have free access to the internet.

The National Law University and Judicial Academy moot court halls provide practice benchmark rounds, intra-university challengers and other moot court activities. Students are also provided training sessions on drafting briefs (memorials), oral arguments, and research works by eminent Judges, Lawyers and guest faculty members.
