DDCIP is one such pharmacy college that is well regarded. Apart from being very comprehensive, the institute also follows a merit-based DDCIP admission procedure to various pharmacy courses. DDCIP has received approval from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for providing quality education in pharmacy. The academic cycle usually opens up for DDCIP admission to students before its commencement, which typically begins in the month of August-September. Interested students are advised to consult with the official page of DDCIP regarding specific details and dates concerning the new admission cycle.
The first step in the A and D course DDCIP admissions is to take into account the qualifying examination results scored by the candidate. DDCIP admission to the postgraduate programme (M.Pharma) is quite different: candidates need to get into GPAT, which is the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test for all national-level entrance examination for postgraduate courses in pharmacy.
The application process varies across programmes at Dayanand Dinanath College Institute of Pharmacy, Kanpur
Basic eligibility for admission to DDCIP differs from programme to programme. At the basic level, candidates must have studied in the subject Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics at 10+2 for B.Pharma and D.Pharma courses. The evaluation of the applicant's performance in academics and their entrance scores (for M.Pharma) will also include the verification of submitted documents. Depending on the programme and number of applicants, shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling or for an interview
The institute offers a full range of programmes in the domain of the pharmacy sector at different education levels. Students can check the course details mentioned below
DDCIP also provides a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) programme with a capacity of 60 seats. DDCIP admission into the B.Pharma programme is based on candidates' performance in the 10+2 qualifying examination. The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics in their higher secondary education to be eligible for admission.
Like B.Pharma, DDCIP provides an intake of 60 seats for the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programme. The eligibility for the D.Pharma admission will also be based on the same provision as that of B.Pharma - by the scoring pattern derived from the Company's performance in the 10+2 qualifying examinations: the same is required here in subject.
DDCIP provides a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) programme in Pharmaceutics and has 12 seats. The entry process into the programme rests on the GPAT scores of the applicants. GPAT is the nationally conducted entrance exam to postgraduate pharmacy programmes. To be eligible for this programme, candidates must possess a B.Pharma degree.
