The infrastructure of the SIRT campus is decent, if not excellent. There is Wi-Fi in the computer labs. The SIRT library is huge, and we can find all the syllabus-related books there. The hostel is good enough. It is a three-floor building with 24/7 Wi-Fi connectivity. The food is of very good quality. The rooms are quite big and spacious. They are available on a sharing basis for 2 or 3 students.
Faculty members SIRT are one of the best things about this college. All teachers are quite helpful, knowledgeable, and properly qualified. They understand students very well and teach accordingly. All the courses taught at SIRT are fully relevant and make students industry-ready.
Above 60 percent of students get placed every year from our college. The lowest package is 5 LPA, the highest is 25 LPA, and the average package is around 7–8 LPA. Usually, mass hiring companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, etc., are the top recruiters here. Most students start getting internships from the 5th semester.
Sagar Institute of Research and Technology is one of the renowned and best institutes in Central India. I chose this college because of its industry-ready courses, best faculty members, study-friendly environment, and placement opportunities. The infrastructure of the college could be better. Events and fests are organized every year with the same level of enthusiasm.
Faculty members are absolutely the best.

No
The college infrastructure is decent. Very quiet and nature-friendly surroundings with well-maintained facilities and up-to-date equipment are there. The class room is well equipped with Wi-Fi access for everyone; laboratories have well-updated technologies; and libraries have well-stocked books.
I am pursuing btech in computer science and science engineering. The faculty of this college is very good; they are helpful, well qualified and well knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good. The semester exam does not seem difficult because of the teachers because they provide all the knowledge.
The placement here is pretty decent. The average package offered here is 3-5 lacs per annum, and the highest package offered here is 7-10 lacs per annum. Almost 70% of students get placed in well-known companies. The placement coordinator is a very helpful person.
The campus is very good, and there is no festival, no campus crowd, and no connectivity but scholarships are provided to students. Small events organised.
Absolutely satisfied by faculty and placement.

Not bad My college have some how necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment but not fully Classrooms are okay not bad Laboratories having wifi and ac Library also wifi and ac Hostels food is bad
Academics also not bad Only average They will come and just display the power point presentation and just speak out few things which on the slide itself But they didn't give full clarity But some how all okay
Placements also okay not bad Some how 80% people are placing And the highest package is 6.79 LPA And on an average placement package is 3 lpa to 4 lpa College is supportive but Any how we have to give our best
The college infrastructure is really very good and also we are the first years here college ki use really a peaceful environment study in the students are really very good you and the provide good and great knowledge

There is no proper basket ball court for playing basketball. We have some necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment but some more needed All the laboratories are having wifi and smart board .
I am studying Computer science and Engineering and i am studying it because of i am interested in that coursw Quality of teaching is okay , not bad The curriculum is not updated and includes all the recent developments in the field
80 percentage of the people are getting placements in the college Highest package is 6.79 Lakhs per annum Also the average is 4 Lakhs per annum My college is supportive for all the students We have to prepare for all
The campus infrastructure of my college is good as we have the facilities available in our college as we have our stadium, auditorium, canteens, lab equipment and good classroom furniture. But the hostel facilities of our college is not good in hygiene and food.
The academics of our college is good as we have a helpful faculty for our subjects. Although some faculty members have a bad attitude towards the students. But there are only few of them. Overall the academics is good.
The placement cell of our college is average. Sometimes it is good. The average package in our college is four- five lakhs and sometimes it can go above these numbers. The placement cell is helpful for us regarding any queries.
The college infrastructure is below average and needs significant improvement. The classrooms are not maintained to a good standard, and many rooms have old or uncomfortable benches. Proper seating arrangements should be provided so that students can attend long classes comfortably. The overall classroom environment also needs better maintenance and cleanliness. The college has limited infrastructure facilities compared with what students generally expect from a professional engineering institution. Some laboratories require better equipment, updated technology, and regular maintenance. Computer labs should have newer systems and reliable internet connectivity so students can effectively work on programming, projects, and practical assignments. The washrooms and common areas also need more attention in terms of cleanliness and regular maintenance. There should be better drinking-water facilities and more comfortable spaces for students to sit and study during breaks. The campus could also benefit from improved sports facilities, recreational areas, and a better library with updated books and digital resources. Overall, the basic infrastructure is available, but there is considerable scope for improvement.
The academic experience is average and has room for improvement. The teaching is generally adequate, but the quality and effectiveness of teaching can vary between subjects. More practical and industry-oriented learning would help students understand concepts better. The curriculum should include more real-world projects, coding practice, workshops, and hands-on activities rather than focusing mainly on theoretical knowledge. Faculty members are generally supportive, but students could benefit from more regular guidance for projects, internships, placements, and career development. Updated study materials and better access to online learning resources would also improve the learning experience.
The placement support is below average. There is no proper placement process or sufficient opportunities provided to students. Companies visiting the campus are limited, and students do not get enough exposure to reputed companies or diverse job roles. Placement preparation such as aptitude training, coding practice, mock interviews, resume building, and communication skills should be conducted regularly. The value for money is below average. Considering the fees paid by students, the facilities, academic support, infrastructure, and placement opportunities could be much better. Students do not always receive enough practical exposure or career-oriented support compared with the overall cost of education. The college should focus on improving infrastructure, laboratories, teaching quality, industry exposure, internships, and placement opportunities. Better facilities and stronger career support would make the fees more worthwhile. Overall, students have to put in significant personal effort to gain additional skills and opportunities, so the current value for money is not very satisfactory.
My college have some what the necessary infrastructure and facilities and also the equipment but not completed Some more needed All the labs having wifi and smart board Also libarary and the hostel having wifi connection
I am studying computer science and engineering I am interested to become an software engineer so that I pick this course But my college was not updated to the recent developed fields Some how this makes us job ready but Some more needed to become and archive good package
Quality of the placements at my college is good and some how 80 percentage of the people are placing in the college placements And the highest salary package is 6.79 lakh per annum Also the average salary package is 3 lakh per annum
Very good infrastructure loved it College have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment . Campus is clean and properly maintained. All classrooms, labs, libraries are air conditioned.
I am studying B.Com(H) . Quality of teaching is great . I think curriculum needs to be updated in du as per new things going on in commerce . Studying only this does not make me job ready as some post grad degree is required .
Roughly 50% to 85% of eligible undergraduate students secure on-campus placement offers. Many remaining students opt out of campus drives to pursue higher education, such as MBAs at IIMs, civil services (UPSC), or professional qualifications like CA and CFA.
> The infrastructure of the college is well-maintained and student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated and equipped with smart boards and projectors which makes learning interactive. The library is the best part, with a huge collection of books, journals and a digital e-library section with Wi-Fi facility. > > Laboratories are fully equipped with modern instruments, especially for Science and Computer departments. The campus has a large playground, indoor sports complex, clean canteen and hygienic washrooms. The entire campus is under CCTV surveillance and has 24x7 electricity backup and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. Overall, the college provides a very good academic environment for holistic development.
The academic environment of the college is highly disciplined and result-oriented. The curriculum is strictly followed as per university guidelines and is supplemented with regular seminars, workshops, and guest lectures. Faculty members are highly qualified, experienced and very supportive. They focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding. Doubt-clearing sessions and mentorship programs are regularly conducted. Internal assessment is very transparent - regular class tests, assignments, presentations and pre-university exams are taken seriously. The college maintains a good pass percentage and many students have secured university ranks. Special emphasis is given on skill development, with add-on courses like Computer Applications, Spoken English, and Career Counselling. Overall, the academic standard of the college is excellent and provides a strong foundation for higher studies and competitive exams.
The college has a dedicated and active Training and Placement Cell. The cell regularly organizes aptitude training, group discussion, mock interviews and personality development classes from the 2nd year itself. Many reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and local industries visit our campus every year for recruitment. The average package offered is around 3.5 - 4.5 LPA, and the highest package goes up to 7-8 LPA. Internship opportunities are also provided by the college in the final year which helps students to get practical exposure. Almost 70-80% of eligible students get placed every year. Overall, the placement support of the college is very satisfactory.
Campus life was fine.
The infrastructure of this college is very disappointing. Library facilities are very poor , no proper WiFi facilities . All the laboratories are in poor condition . Not even a single machine is working in labs. Mess has poor quality of food .
There is serious shortage of teachers and student often face difficulties because there are not enough faculty members available. Classes are not conducted regularly and students do not receive the academic guidance and support they need. Students are left to manage many aspects of their studies on their on , which negatively affect their learning and overall academic performance.
There is no placement support for students and college does not provide enough opportunities to connect with reputed company . The placement process lacks transparency, guidance and effective career suport.
The sports facilities are inadequate . There are no well maintained sports ground . Students have very limited opportunities to enjoy or develop their skills . A clean and active campus is important for students.
For those parents and students who are taking admission in this college please avoid.
The college has decent infrastructure with classrooms, laboratories, computer facilities, a library, and other essential facilities required for students. The learning environment is comfortable, and the available facilities support both academic and practical learning. The campus also provides facilities for extracurricular and sports activities.
The academic environment is good, and the faculty members are supportive and approachable. They explain concepts clearly and guide students whenever they have doubts. The curriculum provides a foundation in programming, engineering subjects, and emerging technologies. Students are also encouraged to learn beyond the classroom through practical activities, projects, workshops, and technical events.
The college provides placement-related training and career guidance to students. Students are given opportunities to participate in aptitude training, technical preparation, communication development, and recruitment activities. Placement opportunities may vary depending on the student's skills and preparation, so students are encouraged to develop strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and practical experience.
Campus life is enjoyable and provides opportunities to interact with students from different departments. Students can participate in cultural programs, technical events, sports, clubs, workshops, competitions, and other activities. These experiences help students develop teamwork, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
In terms of infrastructure this university has a lot of things including its own auditorium, central library, digital class rooms , tons of hostels, also good quality sports facilities, gym ,free wifi for students and faculty in each department, canteens, a science building for all kind of labs, bus and shuttle services within the campus , the world heritage sites, museum and a lot of things . Though, all of this needs a time to time maintenance to keep it running smoothly. The canteens needs to add more good quality food options .
I'm currently pursuing Japanese honours degree from Nippon Bhavan, Visva Bharati . We have a really good quality faculty with experienced and qualified professors. There are also digital screens in the class rooms for audio visual classes. Along with the implementation of the NEP course our curriculum is updated along with that . But I also think that we need a separate listening room and equipments as listening is a very important part while studying japanese and also there is a need to add japanese speaking classes or something like that to improve our speaking skills .
Campus placement doesn't happen that much here after the covid times . Majority of the placements are through referral. But campus placement do happen in some departments. For a example accenture and tcs like fresher companies use to do campusing in our department. But the placement cell needs to work activitely and the departments should also arrange something for better placements.
You have tons of things to explore in this university. Majorly the cultural programs of this university which makes it stand out among most of the universities. Also there are many exposures that you can experience here . For the foreign language departments there are frequently held events with the natives . And also exchange programs are there .Also the location where the university is situated ( santiniketan) is a very safe place . Also the police department and fire department are also situated in the campus area .also the peaceful atmosphere of santiniketan can really heal anyone .
There is a lack of black boards for writing or smart boards. We have all the facilities but those are not well maintained . The water system doesn't work properly. Food hygiene and cleaning is poor .
I am studying Japanese. One or two teachers are good rests are just phd scholars who teaches us instead of actual professors. Phd scholars are instructed to teach us. Well the curriculum is updated but that doesn't make us job ready.
There is no placement facility in my university. Not even internship. Although it is provided by the university but there are taking money for the internship. That's also something totally unrelated to being job ready.
It definately has good infrastructure. We have our own library, smart tv, ac, seminar hall and Wi-Fi. The living place is also hygienic enough and the outside area is clean as well. It has quite big parking lot.
I'm studying B.A.(hons) in Japanese. It has really good scope in this job market and till now almost every pass out is employed. Vbu provides a good foundation in Japanese language, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and culture. It also focuses on the translation part.
I'm still a undergraduate student but as far as I know most of seniors are employed and from both work from home and on site. The average salary is 60,000. The placement process was a bit delayed but yes college was supportive.
Campus is really peaceful and spacious. There are lot of greenery. ECA classes are also really vital here.
Yes, college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. As a chemistry honors student I can say that we got every equipment during our lab work.We have also have wifi connection in our campus. We have air conditioning room for our classes. Our faculties are so helpful.College campus is very neat and clean.
I am currently pursuing BSc honors in chemistry.I get more intereste in this subject. That is why I have taken this course.Quality of teaching is good enough. The only problem is we have so much classes in our daily schedule that we don't get time for self study at home.Being job ready is totally dependent on our study. If i want to go for higher ,it will take some time to get job.
There is no placement from our college. We need to crack competitive examinations to get job.we need to study harder to get job.Nowadays there is a lot of competition. In chemistry after MSc we get placed in laboratory. But that is not from college placement.
Location is good.college campus environment is also good. But we don't have any sports culture like other colleges.
No
Very good faculty and infrastructure for studying a foreign language. Interactive classes with highly qualified teaching staff. The cleanliness of the department is also regularly maintained. Students get to learn the course in depth with amazing teaching methods used by the Professors here.
I am studying Japanese language and Culture here. I always had a keen eye for learning Japanese as I want to further pursue animation in Japan. Learning Japanese in Nippon Bhawan of Visva Bharati gives me great exposure to Native Japanese professors and visitors. We get to interact with them and exchange our thoughts. The curriculum is regularly updated in accordance to the trends followed in Japan. We are also guided to appear for JLPT examinations.
Every year we get to see companies entering for campus placements but the issue is that the placement seems biased towards female students. Of course the person who is highly competent gets the placement but I have hardly seen any male student getting that opportunity. If this sector is repaired then there won't be a problem for the upcoming student and me myself as a running student of this department. The highest package according to what I know is around 12-15 LPA offered. The placement process is as usual as it happens everywhere. The Biased placement system is the only problem that every batch faces and also campus placement rate too seems to be low, only a small fraction of students get placed.
The campus is very beautiful and as everyone knows Visva Bharati is the only living heritage university powered by UNESCO itself. The campus is filled with greenary, gardens, museums and historical sites. The campus has a very active Anti ragging department due to which our university rarely faces any Ragging cases. Only problem is politics. Students often indulge in political parties such as SFI, ABVP, TMC student council etc. According to me politics shouldnt affect students. Students are here to learn and make a future out of the process. Politics is ruining that.
Canteens should have more seating spaces or more canteens should be built as there are alot of students and not everyone can fit in during the lunch hours. Students often need to go outside the campus and eat fast food as lunch. Also what I feel that the Nippon Bhawan does not get much attention from the University administration. Our department seems to have the lowest budget than any other department.
The college has all the equipments that we need in the class like wifi, smart TVs, speakers, etc. But we do not have sufficient chairs and benches so we have to sit on the floor while lectures. The living spaces are clean enough, the garden has a good view, well maintained. I personally love the library service of the university.
I'm currently studying in Japanese department, persuing BA honours in Japanese language and culture. I feel very connected to Asian languages so I chose Japanese as my major. The curriculum of the college includes all the developments in the field like translation classes. Japanese institutions always visit our department so we also get to experience speaking to the native speakers. And yes, i feel like I've improved a lot because of the facilities that we recieve here.
As the universities and institutions related to the major subjects always visit us I've heard a lot of my seniors got placements in really good places. The packages are well enough. As I'm still in my third year and I've seen my seniors getting placements as soon as they graduate with good grades.
The best feature of my college campus is it's nature, garden, sculptures and many more. It's calming to look at and somehow helps the mind to focus on studies. Functions for different occasions are always the best part. We, students decorate, arrange all by ourselves. It's best for teamwork and having fun together.
