i studied B.com banking and insurance to be placed in some government 9-5 job. the quality of teaching is excellent. the curriculum is updated during our first year so we had to learn language for two years instead of one year.

the plaaacement in our college didn't meet my level of expectation, the placement is common for all departments, i do think they can tie up with more banking sector atleast for our course, the placement process is not at all pleasent.

It has essential facilities needed for engineering students but its biggest disadvantage is that it is operating on temporary academic building rather than fully developed independently developed campus. It has classrooms, semi defined labs, library, wifi and sports facilities. Cleanliness and food hygiene are although good but need to improve.

I’m studying Mathematics and Computing at IIIT Ranchi because of its focus on technology and problem solving. They provide a good foundation in core subjects, algorithms and algebra, good practical knowledge too. The curriculum covers relevant technical concepts but more projects, tools, internships opportunities will make students better prepared for placements and future goals.
Placements
IIIT Ranchi offers a decent placement opportunities with an average package of Rs 12.36 LPA and Highest package of Rs 1.25 CR per annum in recent year placement. However I believe that placement depends on individual skills and preparation. More internships and placement guidance will make the process even better.

My experience at IIIT Ranchi has been a mix of good and challenging moments. The campus provides opportunities to interact with other batch-mates and seniors, participation in sports and engagement in technical activities. The student community is friendly and the environment supports learning.

I think the syllabus or couse did not teach us how to do business ; we took admission in BBA because we want to learn how to manage business but this course doe not teach us that , course just taught us some stupid fundamental of maths or statistics which are not really useful in real life.

I actually do not know about that because I am in 2nd year of college but college did not prepare us for that , we still don't know how to give interviews( or how to interact with interviewer or collegues.)

The campus is quite large, and it takes some time to get familiar with all the academic blocks. All Place are well maintained also. There are good places to sit with friends, attend classes and study between lectures. The overall environment is pleasant, though moving between classes can take time.

The transition from school to college studies has been a little challenging. There is more focus on managing your own schedule, and regular assignments and tests require planning. I am still getting used to the teaching style, but the first year gives a useful starting point for engineering subjects.

Since I have only recently joined, I cannot judge the actual placement experience yet. Seniors' experiences and the opportunities available are things I am trying to understand. For now, I feel it is important to build programming skills and explore different technical fields instead of worrying about packages from the first semester. According to this year data highest package is given by eternal of about 57.5 lpa.

The social side of college has been exciting so far. Meeting people from different cities, making new friends and exploring the campus make the experience different from school. The city is very beautiful and also greenish also.

Computer branch has given me a solid base in programming, databases, operating systems and other core subjects. Some semesters were definitely more demanding than others, but the coursework pushed me to become more disciplined. Curriculum is good and well updated with recent ai time.

The placement process gave me a clearer idea of what companies expect from engineering graduates. Total student placed this year till now are about 650 and placement is going on. There are opportunities across different roles, and students who prepare consistently can benefit from them.

What I will remember most is the life built around college, not just the classes.
