A National Science Day was organised by Scottish Church College in collaboration with IQAC, SCC on February 27, 2024.
Scottish Church College was established in 1830 and founded by Revd. Dr Alexander Duff. Currently, the college is under the ownership and administration of the Church of North India (CNI). Scottish Church College is affiliated with the University of Calcutta and is a government-aided institution. It has been granted Re-accreditation as a Grade 'A' Institution (3rd Cycle) by NAAC.
Scottish Church College in Kolkata provides undergraduate programmes such as BA (Hons), B.Sc (Hons), B.Com (Hons), B.Ed (for females only), and BBA. Additionally, the college offers PG courses including M.Sc in Botany and M.Sc in Chemistry. The BA (H) courses are offered in disciplines such as Sanskrit, Bengali, History, Philosophy, Political Science (H) and others. Candidates are admitted to Scottish Church College Kolkata based on their academic merit such as class 12 scores for UG programmes and graduation scores for PG programmes.

It is a well structured building with lot of rooms and it offers a lot of options to choose your stream. It has two different playground to play basketball, football, cricket. It often involves indoor games like table tennis, carrom , badminton. This college is also very good in competing different colleges.
The infrastructure is very classy and it resembles the heritage, historical monuments of kolkata. This collage is 100 years old. With ancient infrastructure collage also has morden with ac rooms and wifi everywhere.
Not very good. No, the college does not have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The classroom has only one smart board, which is not properly used. The laboratory does not have well-equipped instruments. The living place is clean, and the food is hygienic.
