The placements I have heard of is not nice, the abh package is somewhere 4 or 5 lakhs we could have got that package in our graduation college only why do pg and pay extra and get something as low as 4 lacs

The best feature is the canteen and the worst part is there no such things, rest is okay. The students, teachers and supporting staff is very sweet, i had this feeling from the day one itself. So nice.

The competition is decent. They try so hard to do something of the students but fail miserably. They even bring guest faculty for our betterment. But students are not interested and the placements however should be improved, you need to get more companies for placement drives. Every company that comes cannot be of sales then why are their different types of specializations available when everybody is going into sales only. So that part should be worked upon and yeah that's it about our college.

You need campus to have campus life. There was no campus. There was main gate when you enter inside you have your college entrance that's it nothing else no campus nothing. And they can't do anything about it now

My college lacks a little bit in excellent placement. 71% of students who were eligible were placed . 29 lacks highest salary and it was in cse department. Average salary is around 6 lakh. Yes the college is supportive.

It is overall good college. But it does not have its proper separate sports grounds. Students are good. Most of the teachers are good too. It is a bit away from city. Yes it can handle emergency conditions.

I am happy where I am because it was given only on my performance in JEE . So I do not have much complains about my college. And the main thing is all the skill have to be improved by you only. College can help you with it. So it is a great college in academics and only provides good sports facilities. There are certain Clubs which help you grow your skills. Its location is overall descent . It tries on its level to bring best companies for students.

Faculty members are polite, knowledgeable, and very supportive. They assist students academically and personally. The teaching quality is strong, with instructors using case studies, discussions, and real corporate examples to explain concepts.

The highest salary package reached around ₹18–20 LPA, while the average package is about ₹4–5 LPA. Many respected companies come to our campus each year. This year, new recruiters included Deloitte Support Services, Capgemini, Aditya Birla Capital, Maruti Suzuki Financial Division, Lenskart Corporate Office, and Tata Consumer Support Services.

Wi-Fi is available on campus and in the hostels, but the speed is very low, and it hardly works during peak hours. Many labs, especially for other courses, are not properly equipped, and some needed devices are missing. The library does not have all types of books, especially for competitive exam preparation.

Teachers in our college are helpful and understanding, and most of them are well-qualified. However, the teaching quality is average because many classes are taught in a very traditional way. Lectures can get boring, and not many modern teaching methods are used.
Placements
There are no placements for BA students at JNCU Ballia. From our seniors to the recent batch, 0% of BA students got placed because the university does not have dedicated placement support for arts courses. A few companies visit for technical and professional programs, but none recruit BA students.

Faculty are supportive and always very helpful. All the staff helps us whenever we need help. The teachers are very experienced and have a good amount of knowledge and have awesome skills to teach and make us understand concepts. Semester exams are conducted on time. Most of the students score good cgpa.

Placements are good and increasing every year. The placement head is very helpful. The placement is from good amount of companies, and you can get placed easily. You will be able to get package upto 5 LPA and more as well. This is a very good campus to get placed if you are in Computer Science branch especially.

I appreciate how the college administration is finally investing in infrastructure upgrades which were long overdue honestly. The science block classrooms are massive which helps during peak hours when all sections gather together for lectures. I do not mind the absence of air conditioning much but the old furniture definitely needs replacement soon. The library facilities have improved and I find it peaceful for studying during free periods between classes.

I feel fortunate to have professors who genuinely care about whether students understand the subject material properly or not. The economics department organizes seminars occasionally where I get exposure to different perspectives on policy and theory. I value how accessible my teachers are outside class hours for doubt clearing and academic guidance. The semester examination pattern is fair though I wish there were more practical applications and field projects included.

I am honestly disappointed that the college has not built stronger industry linkages for students pursuing economics here. The placement drives are almost non existent and I rarely hear about job opportunities being circulated among us. I understand that economics has diverse career paths but some structured career counseling would have been extremely helpful. Right now I depend entirely on my own networking and online job portals for future opportunities.
Campus Life
I enjoy the diversity of students from different backgrounds which makes conversations interesting and enriching for me personally. The college union does organize events but participation could be much higher with better promotion and planning. I spend quality time in the college grounds during breaks discussing everything from assignments to cricket matches. However, I crave more structured extracurricular activities like debate clubs, music societies or volunteer opportunities throughout the academic year.

I know that Ashutosh College is primarily an academic institution, so the dedicated on-campus placement opportunities for Bachelor of Science in Economics Honours students are somewhat limited. I recognize that I must pursue off-campus internships and apply for jobs independently after my graduation. I am actively working on improving my quantitative skills to appeal to finance firms. I feel the college focuses more on academic research than corporate placements.
