Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering is four years full-time UG program in engineering department offered by the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai and approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

A Pass 10+2 level examination with Mathematics, Physics and any one of the subjects (Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship) with a minimum of 50% aggregate in three subjects (45% in case of students belongs to reserved category)

Admission Details

Admission is done solely on the basis of the performance in the All India B.E/B.Tech./B.Arch. Entrance Examination conducted by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology.

College Infrastructure

The campus is equipped with modern, spacious classrooms and well-maintained specialized laboratories (such as IBM Software Labs, Robotics Center, and Nanoscience Research labs). Computing labs have updated software and high-speed connectivity. The central library is impressive, spread across multiple floors with a massive collection of physical books, IEEE digital subscriptions, research journals, and quiet reading zones. Hostels are available for both boys and girls with options for AC and Non-AC rooms. Rooms are cleaned regularly, and security is strict. Sathyabama is famous across South India for its free, unlimited, high-quality mess food provided to all students (both day scholars and hostellers). Clean, hygienic breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks are served daily with high standards. Wi-Fi is accessible across departments and hostels. The college features large sports grounds for cricket, basketball, volleyball, and indoor game arenas.

College Infrastructure

Our college has excellent infrastructure classrooms with smart boards and WiFi. Well equipped labs and resourceful library and good sports facilities. All are well maintained and actively used. Hostel spaces are clean and the food served is hygienic and satisfactory.

College Infrastructure

College has great infra, especially for specialization block. Specialization students have access class rooms, good spec monitors for each student, high tech robotics, aiml, development labs. Regular cse, IT and ece, eee etc have good infra, no ac or sytems in the classroom but access to labs is provided.
