You get a massive computer center housing hundreds of systems, a well-stocked digital library with tens of thousands of books, and smart classrooms equipped with projectors. If you are into sports, there is plenty of room for football, basketball, and cricket—and the college actively participates in zonal tournaments.
The teaching staff is generally described as supportive and cooperative. Many professors genuinely try to guide students through the heavy syllabus and offer extra help during university exams. The academic atmosphere is highly disciplined. Expect multiple rounds of sessional exams designed to keep your internal scores up.
The average package hovers around ₹2 to ₹3 LPA, while a solid performer might land an upper cap closer to ₹7 LPA (higher packages are usually cracked off-campus by top-tier students). A massive chunk of students here also use their time to prepare for government exams or off-campus tech drives.
It's a good college for students who wants academic focus+ extracurriculars, the teachers are very supportive and explain concepts very clearly Campus is clean We get practical exposure Canteen are well maintained
The faculty is experienced, soft hearted, charming, and supportive They focus on both theory and practical They are very approachable They don't hold grudges They try to make us more punctual and disciplined
The placement cell is active. They conducted aptitude test,GD, and mock interview sessions Colleges helps with summer internship, Placement are decent for future Colleges make sure to lear each and everything
The campus is big, green, and well maintained. Library, canteen, and sports ground are good We have annual fest, and cultural events every year Students crowd is friendly and helpful, the environment is ragging-free.
I started my journey in this college from 2025 I'll enter 2nd year after 2months Everything is good The faculty, management, you can't point out any wrong things. Every cultural events are done very smoothly without any problem
Infrastructure has historically been a talking point for NIT Uttarakhand. For years, it operated out of a temporary campus sharing space with a local polytechnic. Today, the college has progressively shifted toward establishing its permanent identity, expanding facilities at its temporary site while steadily driving construction at its larger permanent site in Sumari.
The professors are generally young, energetic, and highly qualified (mostly holding PhDs from premier institutes). Because the batch sizes are relatively small compared to older NITs, you get a much better student-to-teacher ratio. This makes faculty members highly accessible for mentorship, research projects, and guidance.
Placements at NIT Uttarakhand reflect the broader tech industry. The institute maintains a dedicated Career Counselling and Placement (C2P) cell that actively trains students via mock interviews, resume building, and aptitude tests.
Infrastructure quality is unevenly distributed. While newer setups like the Law Department get modern spacing, older blocks like the Commerce Department feel dated. Furthermore, you will not find luxury here—classrooms lack air conditioning, which makes the Prayagraj summers incredibly taxing.
Classes in the Arts stream are heavily dominated by Hindi-medium instruction; if you are an English-medium student, you will need to rely heavily on self-study and independent reading. Furthermore, while theoretical coverage is disciplined, scientific laboratory equipment is average and sometimes requires students to purchase their own basic practical kits.
The college does feature a "Training and Placement Cell" that organizes "Job Melas" and brief personality development bootcamps (often partnering with groups like MEDHA or Mahindra Pride School). However, standard on-campus corporate hiring is limited. The average packages typically range between ₹2.5 LPA to ₹4 LPA.
Good college with excellent infrastructure and facilities. Library facility with lots of learning material.Wifi enabled boards .Hostel facility not availaible.Clean campus with gud parking facility.water dispenser
I was stduying Btech in computer sceince and that was the field I was intersted in.It had the most updated curriculum of that time.Good reading material was given for our reference. Time given to each subject was enough

i am a student of bachelors of technology in computer science and engineering in the sector 62 campus of jiit, noida the faculty is veryy veryy helpful and knowledgeable if you have a genuine interest in coding and want to prepare yourself for the current job market jiit is the best choice
the average placements are 11 to 12 lpa and the highest in 2026 is 94 lpa which is veryy good companies like google, microsoft, linkedin, etc are regular vistors in the placement season and overall the on campus placements are vv nicee
campus size is very small since it is located in the heart of city noida so the on campus life is not that vibrant and you only get one fest per year but due to being in the heart of city and having a dedicated metro station the proximity to everything doesn't make you feel you are missing out
Basic facilities like departmental labs, separate hostels for boys and girls, and standard sports grounds (including a volleyball court) are present. However, students looking for high-end recreational zones or a bustling campus lifestyle might find it a bit limited.
Affiliated with state bodies (like AKTU/DBRAU) and approved by the AICTE, the curriculum for courses like the MBA, BBA, and BCA follows standard industrial parameters. The management maintains a strict academic focus, prioritizing regular evaluations, syllabus completion, and practical laboratory time.
While the college claims to offer widespread placement assistance, true on-campus drives from top tier MNCs are limited. Much of the placement success is driven by marketing/management streams and the initiative of individual students.
An honest, grounded look at the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT), Prayagraj (Allahabad), reveals that it functions as a highly traditional, no-frills institution. It offers a classic "ROI-backed" education where the focus is strictly on the books, not the luxury.
The faculty aligns much of their teaching with competitive syllabi, and you will find an intensely motivated peer group preparing for government engineering exams from day one.students are naturally funneled into studying.
Computer Science and Electronics students generally find it easier to secure IT roles on campus. For core branches like Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil, reputable names like L&T, Tata Power, and Maruti Suzuki do visit, but the selection criteria are strict.
The central library is highly praised for its massive collection, which saves students quite a bit of money on textbooks. The computer labs are fully air-conditioned, well-equipped, and rely on functional updated systems.
It is a mixed bag. You will find deeply supportive, highly qualified mentors (including some IIT/NIT alumni) who will go out of their way to assist you with technical projects. On the flip side, students report that some departments rely on less-experienced junior teachers or former students.
While exceptional packages (like ₹40+ LPA) are often highlighted in advertisements, these are exceedingly rare exceptions. For students in core branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Biotechnology, core core-company visits are limited.
Spanning over 400 acres, the campus is incredibly lush, peaceful, and filled with British-era heritage buildings.On-campus departments generally enjoy spacious classrooms and decently equipped laboratories. However, because it is a massive state-run university, bureaucracy can slow down maintenance.
The syllabus is updated periodically but is often critiqued for being too theoretical and rigid. If you want to stay ahead of modern industry trends, you will largely need to self-study, take online courses, or join external bootcamps.
The main university departments (like Computer Science, MBA, or Pharmacy) have active placement cells that attract top-tier giants like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Cipla, and Dr. Reddy's. If you are in a top-tier affiliated college, your placement drive will be exceptional. However, if you are in a lower-tier affiliated college, you will likely have to rely on pool campuses or off-campus applications.
They have recently upgraded the infrastructure which makes the campus more rich looking but along with that they have increased our fees. The overall infrastructure is a big confusing with all the wings but once u get around you get used to it.
Yes my college has basic infrastructure which is alright and adequate they have updated new benches and painted the college we have wifi and a new turf and they are well maintained the living spaces are clean and the food is pretty hygienic.
I'm currently studying TY BAMMC specialising in event management because I wanted to purse masters in the same sector the quality of teaching is pretty adequate as per each department and my curriculum is well updated and they do make us job ready.
My course costs me around 40-50k each year which is expensive for my course but since it's near my home i prefer studying here i get my money's worth by attending lectures daily, visiting libraries using facilities such as gym etc.
College campus is pretty adequate it's best feature is that we invited messi and worst feature is its maintainence during rain students can engage in many activities as they have multiple cultural crews to join and Students teacher and support staff like the events that the college organizes as they bring very famous celebrities to the campus. Location is pretty safe and has an ambulance in campus available for emergencies which makes students feel secure about their overall environmental views
While the central hub is great, the quality of infrastructure at the affiliated study centers varies wildly. Some local centers are very well-equipped, while others offer only the bare minimum—basic classrooms and erratic administrative support. Hostel and canteen facilities exist but are generally rated as average.
If you are looking for an immersive, practical-heavy, or research-driven academic environment, you might find it lacking. The focus tilts heavily toward theory, and practical sessions/workshops are compressed into short, intense intervals rather than spread throughout the year.
While management or IT streams occasionally see packages ranging from ₹3 LPA to an exceptional ₹12–15 LPA during joint job fairs, the vast majority of students across regular BA, B.Sc, or B.Com programs have to find jobs independently. The placement cell does, however, provide recommendation letters to help students secure off-campus internships
The library is highly praised by students as a quiet, air-conditioned sanctuary with a vast collection of books. The computer labs (crucial for BCA students) are robust, frequently updated, and equipped with stable Wi-Fi. There is also a massive playground and fully renovated sports turf, making it a great spot if you are into cricket or basketball.
The faculty is highly experienced and often described by students as approachable, helpful, and deeply knowledgeable in their subject matters. Departments like Mathematics and Computer Applications (BCA) tend to get better student reviews for teaching consistency than some of the core laboratory sciences.
For professional courses like BCA, BBA, or select commerce branches, companies like Genpact, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro make appearances. The average package typically hovers around ₹3.5 to ₹4 LPA, with exceptional packages occasionally hitting up to ₹8 LPA.
Walking through the campus feels a bit like stepping onto a historic monument set. The Anglo-Indian architecture is beautiful, featuring vast lawns, high-ceilinged lecture halls, and deep-rooted history. However, this heritage status comes with a catch.
The professors are highly qualified, extensively experienced, and deeply knowledgeable in their respective fields. In smaller departments or professional courses, they tend to act as genuine, supportive mentors.
These see the most active recruitment. Recent median packages hover around ₹7.8 LPA to ₹9.8 LPA for MBA and ₹8.3 LPA for B.Tech. This also holds strong prospects, with median packages around ₹7.3 to ₹9.8 LPA, heavily feeding into corporate law firms, legal departments, and judicial tracks.

the quality of our college's placements are beyond expectations which is quiet surprising to be honest, and almost more than 60% of the students were placed with the highest salary packages like 70LPA and 60LPA. i also enquired my seniors about the process and pleasantness of the placements where they said that the process is simple and very pleasant with supportive faculties.

I have studied B.Tech from Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology. The quality of teaching is commendable. It has proper rules and regulations because of which nobody can skip the classes as it review each and every student.
Placement is good, at my time I have seen many big companies coming for the campus placement and especially mass hireing . Out of 100 percent they was only 1 or 2% students that have not been placed that is also because either they don't want or because of their low score in full graduation cycle.
Due to some strictness provided by the college , students living in hostel may have not experienced it good as there are many restrictions for hosteler. For day scholar also due to attendance mandatory and time boundaries was not good
