    College Infrastructure

The overall facilities and infrastructure available in our course are good. Until now, we do not have any college hostel. Now they are constructing beside the college. The quality of the food in the canteen is okay. Our college encourages every student in sports and games.

    Academics

Faculty members and their teaching knowledge are overall good. Most of the faculty members are PhD and M.Tech holders. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. Semester exams are difficult but not that much if the students are well prepared. The passing percentage is 60-75%.

    Placements

Around 35-45% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.25 LPA. Most of the recruiting companies are start-ups. Top recruiting companies this year are Cognizant, HCL, PwC, Concentrix, etc. Around 40% of students got internships. Some are placed in companies like MAQ, Kyndryl, Qspiders, Planetspark, Sutherland, etc. Most of the roles in our course are sales roles and some are tech-related roles

    College Infrastructure

I am not satisfied at all. I didn't get all the facilities that were required to me as a student . I faced many problems during my college life. No proper library siting and labs for carying experiment.

    Academics

Teachers are not good . Not friendly not suppportive . Only naresh sir is a good teacher here who brings out the best in a student . If i talk about curriculum it is average . But classes do not happen regularly.

    Placements

Placement stats are okay . If student apply they will get the job but the problem here is most of the students do not even pass their academics to apply in the Placement drive . Also this college do not have connections

    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure at CEMK Kolaghat is decent for BTech ECE. Labs well equipped with tools for circuits and signals, library big with books and WiFi. 32 acre campus green, hostels separate for boys girls, 11 blocks clean but rooms small. Sports grounds for cricket football, gym there. Classrooms no AC, hot in summer. ATM and hospital nearby. Helps practical work good.

    Academics

Academics okay, follows MAKAUT curriculum for ECE, covers comm systems and electronics. Faculty mostly helpful, use projectors but some outdated topics. Projects in labs build skills, attendance strict. Seminars from experts sometimes. Not top but fine basics, NBA accredited. Teachers support if you ask doubts. Overall, average for private college.

    Placements

Placements for BTech ECE decent, about 80 percent get jobs if CGPA above 7. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro come, average 4.5 LPA, highest 11 LPA in 2024. 310 students placed last year. Training sessions for interviews, but core jobs less, mostly IT. Placement cell active, depends on skills. Better than many locals.

    Campus Life

Campus life fun, 32 acres green with fests like Resonance tech and Spandan cultural. Clubs for sports, drama, easy friends mix crowd. Canteens cheap food, lake inside for chill. Ragging free, seniors helpful. Near NH-41 easy travel, but rural quiet. Balanced studies fun, enjoyed events and games.

Batch of 2018-01-01 | M.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering

    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure at HIT Haldia is okay for MTech ECE. Labs got equipment for signal processing and circuits, but some old machines need update. Library big with journals, WiFi works in most places. Hostels separate for boys girls, clean but rooms small, mess food average spicy. Campus 37 acres green, sports ground for football, but no AC in classrooms, hot in summer. Helps labs but could be better.

    Academics

Academics in MTech ECE decent, faculty mostly PhDs teach VLSI and comm systems well. Curriculum from MAKAUT, includes projects and seminars on wireless tech. Classes use projectors, but some topics outdated. Attendance strict, exams fair but practicals tough. Guides help with thesis if you ask. Not top like IIT but good for basics, NBA accredited. Average experience overall.

    Placements

Placements for MTech ECE moderate, about 70 percent get jobs if good projects. Median package 4.75 LPA in 2023, highest around 10 LPA from Infosys, Wipro. Companies like TCS, Accenture come for software roles, core less. Recession hit 2024, less drives. Training helps interviews, but network off campus. Placement cell tries, better for IT than core. Depends on skills.

    Campus Life

Campus life balanced at HIT, green 37 acres with fests like Utkarsh tech and cultural events. Clubs for ECE seminars, sports cricket gym active. Crowd mix local outside, friends easy in hostels. College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is better than many delhi university colleges but not the best one. New building is under construction and will be starting soon. One best thing is that our college auditorium is Delhi university's biggest auditorium.

    Academics

Academics is so rigorous if you are a studious person. All the teachers are well qualified and teach very well. Curriculum is also updated and development can be seen in various area. But not only the academics make you job ready, you have to go through various roller-coasters for it.

    Placements

Placement are good of this college as it is situated in North campus. The placement cell of daulat ram college i.e, vriddhi works very well for good placements In college. 2024 highest placement was:- 23.05 LPA Average was:- 6.47 LPA 60-80% PLACED

    Campus Life

Campus is little bit small according to other du colleges bit it is very beautiful. There is glory in everything there. You can feel the fresh homely vibe there. It is just besides srcc. There is faculty of social sciences in front of it.

    Anything Else

I love everything about this college but this is my college I get it through very rigorous journey. I love it's vibe in my life. It is my home away from home. I feel peace here. I love how canteen area gives us unknown pressure of eating, love bundle of books peeking through library and love the shine of sun coming in the corridor of every floor. I love how people shows their talent, creativity and passion on the stage of Rangshala. I love how speakers take session in the conference hall.

    College Infrastructure

The campus infrastructure is very clean and pleasant. Classrooms are quite good with the latest digital projectors and are spacious. The labs are good with the latest equipment and are free to access. The college Wi-Fi does not have proper network coverage. The library is good, with a vast collection of books and a digital library to access and gain knowledge.

    Academics

According to the teaching, the faculty is satisfactory, but it's not helping the students to explore beyond academics. There are some unnecessary subjects in the semester with no use or improvement. This will not affect exploring and participating in campus drives. Semester exams are quite good, but they are of no use in dealing with real-time problems.

The labs are very good and well-equipped with Wi-Fi and other facilities needed for students to learn. There are many labs in the CSE Department itself, and on every floor, there are 2 to 3 labs equipped with AC. Most classrooms have a projector or smartboard and have comfortable benches, and they're not congested at all. The hostel rooms are average in size,

The curriculum is good, and they keep updating the syllabus according to the market and job requirements in the industry. The semester exams are based on the topics and syllabus taught by teachers, so it's not very difficult to score if you learn the notes given by teachers.

GRIET has good infrastructure. Good classrooms, labs, and a great library. The hostel facilities are better for girls, since they're managed by the college, while boys have to look for PGs nearby. Food is decent, not amazing, and sports are encouraged, though space is a bit limited

    Academics

Most teachers at GRIET are well-qualified and supportive, especially in top branches like CSE. Many hold PhDs and are approachable when you need help. The curriculum is mostly up to date and includes internships, certification, and industry-related subjects. Exams aren't too tough

    Placements

If you're in CSE, AIML, or IT, you're likely to have a very good chance of getting placed with a decent salary. Maybe even land a high-paying job if your skills are sharp. Our college has nice classrooms and very decent labs for CSE. It has very good equipment for mechanical branches. Library is very good. So many books and resources, snacks in the canteen are good. But some food items in mess are good and some are a bit not good.

    Academics

Our college has very good faculty members. They are supportive, encouraging, and friendly. Exams are not so tough. But it should be used to study overnights. Mid exams don't have gaps. There will be 3-4 exams continuously. Score as much as possible in mind. It is so important for good CGPA. Score atleast 20 marks in mids for 30 for decent CGPA

    College Infrastructure

Some AC's are not working otherwise everything is perfect. There are proper working smart boards. Proper lights. A very nice reading room and a library. Facilities like gym , Nescafe etc. One of the things I appreciate most about my college is its infrastructure. The campus is well-planned and creates an environment that feels both academic and welcoming. The classrooms are spacious, equipped with projectors and audio systems that make learning smoother. Even small things like comfortable seating and proper ventilation show that the college has invested in creating a student-friendly space.

    Academics

Every teacher is very humble and friendly. As a student, I feel the academics in my college are one of its strongest aspects. The curriculum is designed to balance theory and practical knowledge, which helps us not just understand concepts but also apply them in real life. Professors are genuinely supportive and approachable—they don’t just deliver lectures but actively encourage questions, discussions, and critical thinking. This interactive style of teaching makes classes engaging and far less monotonous. Assignments, projects, and group presentations may sometimes feel challenging, but in the long run, they push us to explore beyond textbooks.

    Placements

My college provides very good placements and a lot of opportunities to the students. The college has strong connections with reputed companies across different sectors, and every placement season brings a wide range of opportunities. From multinational corporations to promising start-ups, the variety allows students to choose roles that match their interests and career goals. Many of my seniors have been placed in well-known organizations with competitive packages, and their success stories motivate us to aim higher.

    Campus Life

I love the campus life my college offers. I really like going college. What I love most is the balance between academics and extracurriculars. After a long day of classes, there are always activities like cultural events, debates, workshops, or sports matches that keep the atmosphere lively. Festivals and annual fests are especially exciting because the entire campus comes together to organize, participate, and celebrate. These events not only give us a break from routine but also help us build teamwork and leadership skills.

    Anything Else

As a student, I feel proud to be a part of my college because it has given me so much more than just an academics. The overall experience here has been enriching, supportive, and full of opportunities. Academically, the college maintains high standards. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, always encouraging us to think critically and go beyond the textbooks. The curriculum balances theory with practical exposure through projects, seminars, and workshops which makes it more nice.

    College Infrastructure

Number of computers in labs are more than 10 in each lab but barely 2 to 3 system actually work. Toilets are so uncleaned and infrastructure is so poor. When we are sitting in a lab we can use the computer systems only when it's our lecture. Otherwise the system controller will not allow us to open the system or turn on the Air Conditioners. So we cannot do our self practice. We are not allowed to use college wifi in our personal systems even in the college. The entire system or circle of this college is so poor. I don't recommend this college to anyone at all....

    Academics

I will give this college 4 ot of 10 as it barely has any practical perspective of studies. They just focus on theoretical knowledge and pressuring the students to do the theoretical work before learning.

    Placements

Placements are limited with no guarantee of selection. Few companies visit, competition is high, and offers don’t match expectations, leaving students uncertain about job security and value for money.

    Campus Life

Poor campus life too — with minimal activities, outdated or weak facilities, and an environment that lacks energy and support. Students often feel disconnected, uninspired, and deprived of a lively or enriching college experience.

    Anything Else

A definitely biased college focused only on earning money, with little concern for student growth or future. Academics, placements, and campus life feel neglected, making it clear the priority is profit over genuine education.
