    Batch of 2027-01-01 | Ph.D Pharmaceutical Chemistry

    College Infrastructure

ICT Mumbai campus in Matunga small but packed with good stuff for PhD Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Labs super advanced, got HPLC, NMR for drug research, all clean and updated. Classrooms AC, smart boards, WiFi everywhere but slow in afternoons. Library huge, tons of journals, quiet spots. Hostels okay, rooms shared, mess food decent but spicy. Sports ground for cricket, gym basic. Parking tough in city.

    Academics

Academics top for PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, guides are experts, many publish in big journals. Focus on drug design, synthesis, bioanalysis deep, seminars weekly. Curriculum flexible, choose projects on new molecules. Guest lectures from Sun Pharma pros nice. Some admin delays in approvals though. Doubts cleared fast, office open. Research funding good, publish papers easy. Classes rare, mostly lab work.

    Placements

For PhD Pharmaceutical Chemistry, placements not main, most go academia or research jobs. But cell helps, companies like Pfizer, Dr Reddys come for R&D roles. Median 7-8 LPA last year, highest 12 LPA. About 50% opt jobs, rest postdoc abroad. Internships in labs pay 20k. Need publications for good offers. Alumni network strong, refer positions. Not 100% like UG, but solid for pharma field. Wish more biotech firms visited.

    Campus Life

Campus life busy at ICT, PhD batch small, bond quick with chem folks from India. Fests like Vortex tech fun, sportsaga cricket matches exciting. Canteen cheap, vada pav tasty oily. Evenings chat in green areas post-lab. Clubs for debate, music, trips to beaches. Girls hostel strict 9pm, boys chill. No ragging, seniors share notes. Mess veg okay, weekends quiet city far. Mix work fun, feels like home.

Batch of 2018-01-01 | BE Computer Engineering

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at VESIT is pretty good for a engineering college in Mumbai. Labs are well equipped with computers and stuff for computer engineering students. Library is big with lots of books and WiFi works okay in most places. Canteen has variety food but sometimes crowded. Classrooms need AC though, its hot in summer. Amphitheater is nice for events. Overall, better than many colleges but could use some updates on old equipment.

    Academics

Academics here are average, not the best but okay. Teachers in computer engineering are helpful, they explain concepts but some are not so knowledgeable about latest tech. Curriculum from Mumbai Uni was outdated, but now autonomous so improving with skill courses. Projects and seminars help a lot. Attendance strict, but support is there if you ask. Faculty tries, but need more industry experts. Its fine for basics.

    Placements

Placements for BE Computer Engg is decent, specially in Mumbai location. About 80 percent students get placed if CGPA above 7. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini come, average package 6-7 LPA, highest up to 18 LPA. But last year recession hit, only 50-60 percent placed. Training sessions good, but depends on your skills. Better than other branches here. Placement cell active.

    Campus Life

Campus life at VESIT is fun and active. Lots of societies like IEEE, CSI for techies, and cultural dance crew. Fests and sports events keep it lively, crowd is friendly mix of people. Location near station easy commute, but chemical smell from nearby factories annoying sometimes. Seniors helpful, makes newbies comfortable. Good balance with studies. Enjoyed my time here.

Fine for central uni level.

    Placements

Placements for BPharma okay, about 25-30 percent get campus jobs from companies like Apollo Hospital, Mecloids Pharma. Average salary 2-4 LPA, highest around 6 LPA for good ones. Many do 6 month internship in hospitals, then jobs as pharmacist 5k-11k monthly in Bilaspur. No big drives, depends on skills and networking. Placement cell tries but not great. Better self search.

Batch of 2026-01-01 | B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure in my college is not up to the mark. Many classrooms and labs feels outdated and the hostel facilities are average. Wi-Fi is limited and sometimes doesn’t work properly. Sports facilities are also very basic compared to other colleges.

    Academics

Even though my college is NAAC A+ accredited academics sometimes feel theoretical. Some faculty are good but others just stick to slides without practical exposure. The curriculum needs more focus on industry skills and real world applications.

    Placements

In my college, placements are not very strong especially for non-CSE branches. Only a few companies visit and most students end up with average packages around 2-3LPA. For core branches opportunities are very limited which is disappointing.

    Campus Life

My college campus is in a remote area so there are very few nearby facilities. Entertainment and networking opportunities are limited. Fests happen but they are not very grand and overall campus life feels dull most of the time.

    Anything Else

My college has potential but needs major improvement in infrastructure placement drives and overall exposure. If you’re looking for strong industry connections or modern facilities this might not be the right choice.

Batch of 2026-01-01 | B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

    College Infrastructure

My college has modern classrooms, advanced labs, and a big library. Hostels are decent with Wi-Fi, though maintenance could be better. Sports facilities and green campus add to the environment and food is also hygienic.

    Academics

Faculty are knowledgeable and supportive, with updated curriculum matching industry needs. Practical exposure is good, but sometimes teaching feels exam-oriented rather than skill-focused.yes, what I am studying can make my job ready.

    Placements

In my college, placements are fair, especially for CSE and IT branches. Top companies visit with packages up to 15LPA, but for core branches, opportunities and salaries are still limited compared to other colleges.

    Campus Life

My college campus life is lively with cultural fests, technical events, and clubs. However, hostel rules are strict, and the location outside city limits makes outings and access to amenities slightly difficult.

    Anything Else

My college is growing with new programs and partnerships. Still, it needs to improve research culture and placements for non-IT branches. Overall, a decent choice for engineering students in Hyderabad.

IIT Gandhinagar infrastructure great for PhD Chem Engg. Labs got modern tools like reactors for catalysis work. Library big, journals plenty, WiFi fast. Hostels AC, mess food healthy. Sports ground, pool nice. Summer hot, no extra AC. Supports research good.

    Academics

Academics solid, PhD faculty teach catalysis, processes. Coursework first, then thesis, seminars on real issues. Strict reviews but flexible, funding for papers. Guides help if you push. Not easy, but publish in top journals. Better than many for innovation.

    Placements

PhD placements lean research, not mass jobs. Many get faculty posts in NITs, IITs, or postdocs abroad, stipend 50k plus. R&D in Reliance if networked. No big drives, depends on papers. Average 8-12 LPA academia. Good for passion, not quick money.

    Campus Life

    College Infrastructure

Overall, infrastructure of the college is very good, mainly library, which consists of 1000s of books. Hostel infrastructure is good, but the food quality is not good. Do not expect much from college in matters of sports. Canteen food is okay, but not up to the mark.

    Academics

Many of the teachers are good in their subjects, especially those who have done a Ph.D. or any higher studies, but a few of them are not that good. Course curriculum is not that much industry-relevant, and a lot of improvements have to be made in the course curriculum. Semester exams are somewhat tough, but if you study properly from the start, you can pass easily. Pass percentage of the class is 80%.

    Placements

Placements are somewhat okay, the highest package was placed at Rs. 25,00,000, and average package was Rs. 5,50,000, with least package Rs. 3,40,000 for the last academic year. Nearly 70% of the students get placed on campus. Internship chances are very low, don't expect much from college for an internship. Top companies were HCL, TCS, Infosys, and Global AI.

The academic infrastructure is well-developed, with spacious lecture halls, modern classrooms, and specialized laboratories that support practical learning. Departments like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering are equipped with advanced labs and workshops, ensuring that students gain hands-on experience alongside theoretical knowledge. The central library is another highlight, housing thousands of books, journals, and e-resources. It remains a hub for research and self-study, with comfortable reading areas and digital facilities

    Academics

At the undergraduate level, the flagship program is the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) offered in branches such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Production Engineering. Admission to these programs is through the JEE Main examination, ensuring that students from across the country compete for entry. The curriculum emphasizes classroom teaching, laboratory work, projects, and internships to develop a strong technical foundation. For postgraduate students, the institute offers Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Placements

Computer Science and Information Technology branches often record the highest placements, with students securing packages ranging from 12 LPA to even above 40 LPA in reputed multinational companies. Electronics, Electrical, and Mechanical branches also receive good offers, with average packages of around 7–10 LPA. Core companies, though fewer in number compared to IT firms, provide valuable opportunities for students in production and civil engineering. Some of the prominent recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Infosys, Deloitte, Oracle, and many other leading organizations. The placement cell also conducts pre-placement training, aptitude sessions, and mock interviews to prepare students for the recruitment process. College Infrastructure

As a 3rd year eng student at SJCE, the infrastructure is wide and big, super neat compared to others. Food quality is always good and hygiene, which is a win. Some buildings are like 30 years old tho, but overall the vibe is clean and spacious. Lowkey impressed!

    Academics

Academics here are strict af, they're so keen on results without any chill. Teaching quality isn't too bad, but they only focus on academics, not really developing skills. Wish there was more balance, but grades are def prioritized

    Placements

Placements are not pretty easy to get after grad, there is major difficulties. Lots of companies come for hiring, which is great. But nowadays, their expectations are way too high, so it's a bit of a grind. Still, opportunities are there if you hustle.

    College Infrastructure

Classrooms are minimal with chalk and board setups in some classes and are not digital. The canteen is very tiny and gives a limited number of food options at affordable prices. The college has basic sports facilities but does not have any large dedicated playgrounds like private colleges.

    Academics

The syllabus is according to the CCS University guidelines and the university conducts the exams. Passing an exam depends on how well the student prepares, as exams can be moderate to difficult. The pressure of academics is not very high compared to private colleges

    Placements

There are no placements directly available for B.Sc students. The main focus of the college is on academics and completing the degree. After finishing their graduation, students mostly opt for higher studies like M.Sc, B.Ed, or prepare for competitive exams.
