Right now infrastructure is limited as the campus is still under construction. Mostly there is one main building being used for classes. Boys stay outside the campus and travel around 15km daily to attend the college.

Academics are decent but discussions often focus a lot on caste and gender. Sometimes it feels repetitive. The course structure for economics hons is good but quality of teaching depends on the faculty.
Placements
Since this is the first batch, there is no clear idea about placement yet. The placement record is still developing. The college offers 100% scholarship to many economical weaker students. Highest package ranges INR 5 LPA.

The big buildings of the campus are surrounded by beautiful green parks. There is a library, sports facilities, hostels, smart classrooms, etc.

PIET recently became Haryana's First autonomous institute and is also accredited with an NAAC A grade. These rankings are proof of the quality of academics offered by PIET. Academics at PIET are more practically oriented and designed as per current industry demands. From learning AI in classrooms to making real projects on it, this shows the kind of effort professors put into education at PIET.

Over 240+ companies visisted Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2025 to recruit students. Students get good jobs roles with higher salaries right after graduation. Most students get packages of 6-7 lakhs, and few of them recieved packages ranging from 15 LPA to 45 LPA. Also, the Career Advancement Cell helps a lot through mock interview sessions.

Campus life at PIET is very engaging. There are cultural festivals and educational events happening throughout the year. Also, there are facilities like a gym, cafeterias, an open-air theatre, and many more, which make the college experience better. There are student-run clubs like the Robotics Club, Techvision Club, Books and Banter Club, Textile Club, and many more.

Placements at VIT-AP are steadily improving every year. The placement cell is active and provides regular updates, training sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many students get placed in IT, software development and service-based companies. The average package is reasonable for a growing campus, and a few students secure high-paying offers through strong skills and projects. While the campus is still building its placement reputation, opportunities are good for students who stay consistent and proactive in skill development.
