Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the University of Kashmir, Srinagar.

Eligibility Criteria

The Applicant must be a permanent resident of J&K State as defined in Section-6 of the Constitution of the J&K; Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and with at least 50% marks for Open Merit Category candidates and 45% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Other Socially and Educationally Backward classes.

Admission Details

The admission of students to courses right from notification to the selection of candidates is made by the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BoPEE), an agency constituted by the J&K State Government. The institution admits only those students whose names appear on the list of selected candidates issued by the BoPEE.

College Infrastructure

SSM College of Engr students with a com campus environment. The college has spacious classrooms, funesional lab library, computer labs with internet access, and areas for sports and extracurricular activities. The natural surroundings of the campus create a calm atmosphere that heips students focus on their studies, Facilities like transportation and hostel accommodation are also beneficial for students coming from distant areas.

Overall the college experience is average.

College Infrastructure

College has most of the basic infrastructure and facilities required for students like classrooms, labs, libraries. Some equipment’s and facilities still need improvement and maintenance but overall the environment is decent.
