It offers decent placement opportunities, especially in the field of management, commerce and science. In this college top recruiters do come for eg, Deloitee, Infosys, KPMG, etc. and payouts are also very well.

KJ Somaiya's campus in Vidyavihar, Mumbai offers a vibrant and diverse campus life spread across a sprawling 60-acres area, sometimes college do get overcrowded, due to high student population and limited parking space.

BIT Mesra has really good infrastructure and facilities that make college life comfortable and productive. The classrooms are clean, spacious, and have projectors for better learning. Labs are fully equipped with modern instruments, and everything is well maintained so practical work never feels like a hassle. The library is huge — it’s a peaceful place to study with thousands of books and online resources. Sports facilities are great too; we have grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and even indoor games and a gym. Hostels are neat and the rooms are decent in size with good Wi-Fi. The food in the mess is hygienic and better than what you’d expect in most colleges. The campus overall is very green and pleasant, and there’s a medical center available for any emergencies. It honestly feels like everything a student might need is already here.

I’m pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at BIT Mesra because I’ve always been interested in coding, technology, and problem-solving. Overall, what we study actually helps us become job-ready, especially with the amount of hands-on learning and exposure we get here.

I’m not yet placed, but many of my seniors and friends have received offers from top companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn. The overall placement scenario at BIT Mesra is really good, especially for core and CS-related branches. The highest package usually goes to CSE students, crossing around 50+ LPA, while the average package for most branches stays between 8–12 LPA. Many well-known companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, and PwC also visit the campus every year. The placement process is quite smooth — the Training and Placement Cell is very active and supportive throughout, helping with mock interviews, aptitude tests, and resume guidance. Even though I’m still preparing, seeing my batchmates and seniors get placed in top companies is really motivating. It feels like with the right effort, BIT gives you all the opportunities you need to land a good job.

I found all the facilities in the campus including the clean classrooms ,modern and smart labs, classrooms with projector and digital board.A very good wifi connection for all the students and staff. But the hostel is very good.

Currently I am in the first year engineering program of mechanical engineering and the faculties of my branch are really very good and supportive. They always try to push the students towards their maximum potential.
Placements
You will be pretty impress to hear that although the placement ratio of mechanical department is average but the highest package will force you to think again for the college and this branch. The highest package was 70 lpa which is amazing.
