About Government Women's Polytechnic, Muzaffarpur
Government Women’s Polytechnic Muzaffarpur also known as GWP Muzaffarpur was established in the year 1856 by efforts of the state government for the educational welfare of women. GWP Muzaffarpur is the only and first women's polytechnic college in north Bihar, which prepares women for self- employment and in the private sector.
Government Women’s Polytechnic Muzaffarpur has been approved by AICTE- All India Council of Technical Education New Delhi. Govt. Women’s Polytechnic starts with an objective to train the students in engineering and technology in order to handle engineering and development programmes in the state of Bihar. Government Women’s Polytechnic Muzaffarpur is affiliated College of the State Board of Technical Education Patna.
The GWP Muzaffarpur offers diploma courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Food Processing and Preservation. College Infrastructure
Infrastructure wise, the college is not so nice but it has all the facilities like laboratories, libraries, play ground and hostels. Hostel has mess facilities. The quality of food is not good btw Wi-Fi is available 24*7

College Infrastructure
On the name of college infrastructure, there is only a single building. The college is situated in industrial area so all we can have is dust and polluted air. The college looks like a hauted place with various ghosts.
Overall it was a good experience, value for money.

College Infrastructure
The college has basic infrastructure with classros, laboratories and a library. Labs have essential equipment for practical learning, though some equipment needs upgrading. The campus is clean and secure. Hostel facilities are available for girls and safety is given importance.
