About Government Women's Polytechnic, Muzaffarpur
Government Women’s Polytechnic Muzaffarpur also known as GWP Muzaffarpur was established in the year 1856 by efforts of the state government for the educational welfare of women. GWP Muzaffarpur is the only and first women's polytechnic college in north Bihar, which prepares women for self- employment and in the private sector.
Government Women’s Polytechnic Muzaffarpur has been approved by AICTE- All India Council of Technical Education New Delhi. Govt. Women’s Polytechnic starts with an objective to train the students in engineering and technology in order to handle engineering and development programmes in the state of Bihar. Government Women’s Polytechnic Muzaffarpur is affiliated College of the State Board of Technical Education Patna.
The GWP Muzaffarpur offers diploma courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Food Processing and Preservation. College infrastructure is good with clean classroom and useful labs the library has helpful books and the campus environment is safe and disciplined hostel and and sports facilities are also decent over all the college provides a comfortable atmosphere for learning and student growth

The college infrastructure is good. There are many blocks according to department. There are many classes and Labs all classes have necessary equipments and all. Labs are so good , labs have each and every required materials for all experiments.There is a library and you can access books using Library card. I don't know about the hostel facilities. Except that all things are almost good.
