Lakhs of students graduate from this university every year in different courses. The University campus is very clean and green with a large land covering area across Kolhapur city. I had done me bachelors in science in computer science from Shivaji University Kolhapur and the syllabus was very well-designed, and the teaching faculty is very well experienced the lectures are done on regular bases as per the timetable and time to time punctuality.

The placement facility is very good as it's a reputed university placement of the students which studied is a ease and many of them have achieved good jobs with good CTC. Many of my friends have been placed and high level jobs which were studying with me at same .

Campus is very huge and clean with lots of greenery and natural surrounding and the campus is being cleaned time to time and maintained hygienic conditions there are many animals and birds of various species can be seen around.

I didn't experience till yet about the placements. May be around 75% to students are placed. As per my knowing, the average salary they must be offered between 4L - 5L but again I may be wrong because as I don't know about it

I didn't visit the college yet as i am learning from the distance but we have our groups where students are engaged with each other, help each other. They had provided a mentor to all the students where they support us, guide us.

In our college, facilities are very good like classes, seminars and Wi-Fi. In computer labs, all the systems do not work, which is the main drawback. The hostel was a waste because they provide 1 room for 25 students. In our college hostel, there is no Wi-Fi, and even there is minimum security for students' things. At least they don't provide sufficient charging sockets.
Academics
Teachers here are helpful based on their relationship with students. Some staff members are knowledgeable, but not all. There are no industry trips in our college. Many times students try to convince them, but it is not useful. Staff members never give permission.
Placements
About 50% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary package of 6 LPA was provided by Infosys, and the lowest salary package offered was something around 1.8 LPA. Value Labs, HCL, TCS, Mindtree, Capgemini, CGI, Cognizant, etc., visit here for placements. Very less students get placements in Infosys. I think mostly 30% of the students get internships from here. Associative engineer, web developer and SGL database are roles offered here.

Around 30% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. HCL, Mphasis, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro are visiting our campus to hire students, and provide the required skills to crack a job. Software developer, software testing, system engineer, etc., are the roles offered.

In our course, top recruiting companies are power plants. I couldn't attend any type of internship because they didn't allow and support every student.

The team has 30 members including captain, vice captain and manager. The team works in five subsystem based on the basic automobile systems.

The heritage building is stunningly majestic, giving everything a stately, serious atmosphere and it definitely does not feel like a modern box building. However, the campus essentially shares space with the school section, so for us college students, the recreational area feels like a tiny slice of the pie. For me finding a corner to just chill out and breathe, without feeling like I am standing in a hallway, is the hardest quest of the day.

The Education Honours course feels like I hit the academic jackpot. Our faculty are not just teachers but they are genuine subject matter superheroes.They drill down on the complex University material so thoroughly that when the final exams come, I feel genuinely over-prepared and capable. This is a 5/5 experience purely based on the quality of instruction.

This college is an education factory, not a job placement hub for Arts students. If you are aiming for a serious role in the humanities or education right after graduation, you are on your own. The official placement cell throws almost all its focus and resources towards the Commerce and Management streams, leaving us core Arts majors to pick up the very basic leftover jobs which are not even worth doing according to me.

The campus creates a wonderfully focused and safe academic bubble. There is a powerful sense of support and zero tolerance for distraction, which is a major positive for me. Plus, the location is phenomenal being right in the city heart, making it the perfect launchpad for quick transport and grabbing food with friends after class. The college has great clubs that allow us to build serious leadership skills. The only thing that truly clips my wings is the twin enforcement of strict attendance rules and the physically small campus. There is not much breathing room or spontaneous social time built into the schedule or the geography.

I find recruitment drives for my specific Arts roles are infrequent and often target general support positions. I constantly remind myself that my most meaningful career moves depend on securing off-campus internships. I accept that the college's direct assistance will be negligible for my specific career goals.

I find myself wishing we had more open space to simply breathe between my crowded lectures every single day. The main building has a wonderful, old-fashioned look to it, but I constantly feel the crush of people when I am trying to move through the narrow, tight hallways. Even though the maintenance staff works hard to keep everything extremely clean, the lack of ample room makes things feel exhausting during the busiest times of the entire college day. I really hope the college library gets some better digital subscriptions and more comfortable seating for us students who crave quiet study.

The English faculty here just absolutely gets literature, and that contagious passion immediately hooks me into every single lesson. I feel like my brain is genuinely switched on every time I attend class because the professors constantly challenge my existing critical thinking skills.

For us Arts and Humanities graduates, the job opportunities the placement cell provides are unfortunately very limited in scope and also in their overall number. The available positions mostly involve roles like basic human resources, corporate content writing, or sometimes a position in the educational field later on. The salary packages being offered through the official campus drives are usually quite minimal, which is certainly disheartening but totally typical for my non-professional, liberal arts degree.
