Since we are from the covid batch, we haven’t experienced a lot of infrastructure or facilities. So I will give a neutral review in this category. But how much ever we got to experience the infrastructure is top notch.
I did the Masters in Statistics course with this college and to be honest some of the faculty members were really good and they went all out in making us understand the concepts through practical applications of the subject. The curriculum was not updated when we were studying but they have tailored it now which is good.
The placement committee was quite cooperative and active in terms of getting recruiters on board. The highest package in our course was offered by HDFC Bank. I would say the average salary offered was around 8 lac pa.
I would have to agree to this in some aspects. Although, this being a fully online batch, the course fees were the same hence I would rate this a 4. The course back in 2020 was 3.4 lac (in total).
Again, my review in this category would be neutral. But yeah I would have to say that the engagement for other batches was really great.
Yes my college has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms are equipped with projectors , smart boards, good audio system , computers for all for practical's. My college is fully air conditioned with free Wifi. They are all used and well maintained. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I am studying applied statistics and analytics. I have interest in computer science, statistics which is the reason for selecting this course. The quality of teaching is pretty decent. the curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in the field. yes it makes me job ready.
The quality of placements are pretty decent. For the past 2 years there has been 100% placement. The highest salary package was 28 lakhs and it was for my course which is Applied statistics and Analytics. Average salary is 10-12 lakhs. The placement process is quite hectic but the college is supportive.
The course cost is 5 lakh for 2 years. Yes I feel I am getting my moneys worth from all the knowledge, practical experience, project guidance and additional winter internship for all students.
Campus life is pretty decent. The best is the fest and sports organized by the council. Students engage in different activities like sports, dance, sing etc. I have no knowledge about the support staff.
Hi Vartika
The answer to you question if you ask in simple words is NO. You can not take transfer in second year from one university to another, you will have to reappear for admission test and procedures and start all again if from first year if you really want to change your university. However, if you want to change your course and study in your same university then it may happen but it is very very difficult rather I would say it is almost impossible, you can request your university management if they would consider your demand to change your course (which they are most likely to refuse) only then something can happen . You can not go to any other university just by getting transferred in second year.
I hope this answer resolved your query.
Narsee Monjee , Christ and Symbiosis are some of the best colleges in the country . Studing in these colleges in one of the best opportunities that you can get . The fees is hefty though, as compared to other colleges. I would suggest you to take admission in Du colleges which are the top most collegees for economics. However these colleges also have good environment , opportunities and peer group.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing absolutely great.
So, with regard to your query, the fee structure for BSc economics in Narsee Monjee College is INR 67.93k per three years. However, this is only the tuition fee, the hostel fee is again different., it depends upon the accommodation you choose.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you.
