Nothing is special about an IITIAN they are human which you also are, still they have a tag of IIT which gives them a fame  And majorly they get into IIT after cracking a toughest exam JEE advanced which shows their hardworking quality , and it is not necessary that all IITIAN do the same buckle down also after getting in to it, so that's why they do not get placed , still nothing is special they only have tag , and they have good options of placement but it depends upon their skills and knowledge whether they will place or not

They know how to work hard and study smartly, that is the reason they got themselves admitted to country's most prestigious institution. There's nothing much difference than other students only that they were dedicated, consistent and honest towards their studies while JEE preparation and would be the same while in their graduation period.
