Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University was established in 1964 to encourage and inculcate vested interest in the field of Agricultural Sciences among the students. ANGRAU Guntur offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D courses in varied areas of study with different specialisations.
The four functional faculties of the university are Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Community Science, and Postgraduate Studies. ANGRAU Guntur offers B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech, and Ph.D programmes in various specialisations. Students seeking admission into the courses should have valid scores of the AP EAMCET entrance exam for B.Tech or the entrance exam conducted by the university for other courses.

College Infrastructure
There is a separate building for community science known as the college of community science. They have smart boards and AC in just first year classroom. Library is very small with no proper reading area. However laboratories are quite decent. There is just one hostel for students, that too only for girls. There too no cupboards for keeping your stuff in 2nd and 3rd year, and unlike mentioned in there website there's no wifi in hostel and poor entertainment facilities.
My experience has been transformative and enriching

The Campus life is vibrant and dynamic. The campus facilities are state-of-the-art providing students with modern resources for both academic and recreational pursuits. The hostels facilities can be improved.
Education is good but only no proper placements.

I had studied at Agricultural College Rajahmundry. During my graduation, there was no campus for the college, and all the equipment was old. But in 2023, a new college was constructed, including all new equipment.

If you have reservation like sc or st then you might have chances better in getting the seat beacuse the seats are very less mean 800 approximately so maintain patience and wait till last round you will get the seat in your preferred college.
