36 MonthsThe School of Behavioural Sciences at ASU invites applications for its PhD programme in different domains of psychology or applied psychology. Our faculty expertise spans developmental, biological, cognitive, clinical and counselling psychology. Methodologies span qualitative and quantitative, theoretical, and experimental.
The PhD students at SoBS, ASU get to experience the essence of learning through multi & trans-disciplinary collaborations with partners from industry, institutions, and the field. During the PhD programme, students will have the chance to attend national & international conferences, research seminars, gain field experience and expand their skill set as professionals.
The primary focus is to ensure students develop strong scientific temper, research abilities and skills in the field of psychology.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility:
- Minimum 55% at Master’s degree or equivalent in psychology / Applied psychology.
- Written test and research proposal presentation and personal interview
- Applicants for part-time PhD programme will have to submit No-Objection-Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
Duration:
- PhD programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years.
- PhD programme (Part-Time) shall be for a minimum duration of five years, including course work and a maximum of eight years.
