36 MonthsBachelor of Arts (B.A.) Hons in Dance is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course and it is offered by the Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.
Dance
- Bharatnatyam: Candidate should be able to perform solo Bharatnatyam with focus on Nritta and Abhinaya (Compositions like Alaripu, Jatiswaram, Kautukam or Shloka) for 10 Mins.
- Kathak: Candidate should have knowledge of at least two Taals. Candidate should be able to perform kathak for 10 mins. Showing Vandana, Gatbhav, Thumari, Toda, Tukada etc.
- Sattriya: Student should perform Krishna Nritta / Nadubhangi and Nandi Shloka.
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate who has passed Higher Secondary School Certificate examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination of any other statutory Board / University.
Admission Details
The candidate has to undergo a common entrance test followed by a performance test before a panel of eminent scholars from the field of Music / Dance.
