M.Sc Big Data Analytics at CURAJ Offline Course

M.Sc Big Data Analytics is a postgraduate 2-years Full-time Course and it is offered by Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer

The program MSc (CS) Big Data Analytics started in 2016 in partnership with TCS after months of perseverance by Prof Arun K Pujari, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and others. The goal of the program is to train students in the emerging field of Data Science and prepare them for one of fastest growing industry of data analytics. Data Science is built on the three pillars of computer science, statistics and mathematics. Our syllabus is designed to reflect this. The principal objectives of the program and the detailed syllabus are provided.

MSc BDA is a two-year (4-semester) program. The final semester is devoted to project work preferably in a relevant industry. Our partnership with TCS entails internships for the students for the final semester who satisfy some basic eligibility criteria. We are negotiating internships in other reputed companies involved in data science and analytics work.

Any science graduate with mathematics is eligible for the MSc BDA program. The program covers some intensive courses in programming in Python, R and Java. In principle, students with no programming experience can pick up the requisite skills but some knowledge of coding will help.
