72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree (two years or Integrated five years) / M.Phil. degree with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD candidates] in allied subjects, preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree of three years / four years duration from a recognized University/Institute.
