72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Management shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Chanakya University, Bengaluru.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility: Chanakya University follows the Guidelines laid down by the University Grants Commission that includes the following-
- A 2-year/4-semester Master’s degree programme (with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) after a 3-year Bachelor’s degree programme (at least 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) OR
- A 1-year/2-semester Master’s degree programme (with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree programme (with at least 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
- An equivalent qualification from a recognised and officially accredited foreign educational institution.
- A four-year research UG degree with 75% marks from a recognised Indian university or a similar degree with appropriate equivalent grade from an overseas university that is duly recognised in India.
Admission Details
- Selected candidates will be intimated to appear for an online Chanakya University PhD Selection (CUPS) Test to be conducted by the University.
- Candidates who have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the test will be eligible to be called for a personal interview.
- The final list of shortlisted candidates will be sent Offer Letters by email.
