Dear Faiyyaz, Chaudhary Charan singh University has Regular and Self financing courses. Under B.Sc they have only B.Sc (Hons) but do not have Biotechnology as a course. However they have Biotechnology at Master's level under their self financing courses.

Surely you can apply for Ph.d program of the college.The university offers Ph.D., D.Litt, D.Sc and LL.D programs  at the approved university centers. Minimum eligibility for these courses is a Master’s degree in the specified subject with 50% marks . Ph.D., D.Litt, D.Sc & LL.D admission is granted

You are eligible but its depend upon the university wether they want to be with this or not.

Some of them will suggested you to start again from 1st sem. But some of them will allow to attent the 3rd sem.
