Batch of 2020 | MBA
One of the best B-Schools in India . Delhi Technological University is one of the most reputed university . Infrastructure and campus is beautiful and mesmerizing . Faculties are really helpful and highly qualified . Campus life is very lively and engaging as some or the other event keeps on going everytime in the campus . Fees is very affordable as compared to other B-Schools of similar repute . the fees at DTU is somewhere around Rs. 3 lakhs . i would definitely recommend the college if someone asks me . But they would need to work hard to qualify .

A B-School where you can bring out the best in you

Batch of 2018 | MBA
Delhi School of Management is a relatively new B-School but its growth has been tremendous. The faculty is good and experienced. DTU campus is huge and beautiful. The library is excellent. Everything here is student-driven and the professors encourage new ideas. Guest lectures are organized regularly. Students get ample time to develop their skills. Placements are decent. The best part is ROI and the DTU brand name.

Stupendous Learning Experience

Batch of 2018 | MBA
Delhi School Of Management started in the year 2009 with an aim to provide future techno-managers to the society. Since it's inception, it has been climbing up the ladder of success with its placements, guest lectures, industry experience, and student driven clubs. Campus and infrastructure are unexpectedly brilliant compared to other government colleges. Library is well equipped with a variety of books with an additional feature of incubation center, where students can put their ideas to real world scenario. Helpful and motivating faculty,non-hectic class schedules and pedagogy of the subjects are a cherry on top for overall development. Last and the most important part is about placements and fee structure. DSM provides the best return on investment compared to a pool of MBA colleges. when you compare the average salary and fees, there is a huge gap which is itself drool-worthy.

About College:

The Delhi Technological University (DTU) had its roots way back in 1941 when it started off as the Delhi Polytechnic. This makes it the oldest engineering college in Delhi, and one of the oldest in the entire country. It was originally under the control of the Government of India, but then passed into the hands of the government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi from 1963 onwards. It was then known as the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE). Its affiliation was with the University of Delhi (DU) from 1952 till 2009. During this period, the admission procedure and the syllabus was shared with the Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology which was founded in 1983. The curriculum was then set by the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi. But since 2009, it has been accorded the status of a full-fledged university.

The DTU started off its operations in the older avatar in its Kashmiri Gate campus before moving out in the year 1995 to its new 164- acre centre on Bawana Road. Another campus was begun in 2017 in Vivek Vihar which is in East Delhi. This centre is known as the University School of Management and Entrepreneurship (USME). Training for a number of courses is imparted at the two campuses. At the UG level, there is the BTech programme. The BBA and BA in Economics courses are run from the USME centre. In 2018, a B.Des. was also begun. Admission to this course is via the UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design). At the PG level, there is an MTech as well as an MBA. There are Evening or Part- time courses as well at both the undergrad as well as master’s levels. There are doctoral as well as postdoctoral programmes on offer as well. Admissions for the BTech course is via the JAC (Joint Admissions Counselling) process. At the PG level, it is through the GATE (Graduate Admissions Test for Engineering) route. For the MBA programme, admissions are done using the scores in the CAT (Common Admission Test). An Executive MBA is also here on offer for the working professionals. There is a specialized MBA as well in Business Analytics. International students’ admissions is much encouraged here. Special provisions are made to ensure the campus has a more international appeal.

The Delhi School of Management (DSM) offers a two- year MBA programme in quite a limited number of specializations. This is because the target is not for a generic MBA. Due to the origins of the university as one catering to technology and engineering, and due to the presence of the DU’s FMS, the need was felt for an MBA that is best suited to tech or engineering grads. That is why only engineers that too from only certain branches and commerce or economics grads who have completed their master's degree can apply to this course. The specializations are divided depending on the semester. In the 3rd semester, the specializations on offer include- Information Technology Management (ITM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Knowledge & Technology Management (KTM). Meanwhile, in the fourth semester, the specializations that can be pursued from are- Human Resources, Marketing and Finance. This is why the third semester is known for its honing of the technical area of management, while the fourth is about functional areas. There is also a summer internship module sandwiched between the two years of study.

The infrastructure at both the campuses of DTU is of top-notch quality. For a start, the campus is equipped with EDUSAT facility. There is a hub for the same. It also has a Knowledge Park. The idea of this is to integrate knowledge from different sources towards the common good. This park is to have areas for knowledge on sectors such as Telecom, Infrastructure, Energy, Nano Technology and IT. There are adequate hostels for students and guest houses for visitors. A health centre and a gymnasium are also attached to these residential facilities for all to take advantage of. The central library has one of the best collection of books possible. There is also the linkage to enormous amounts of academic input through the digital access to research journals. Attached next to the library is the computer centre, which too has the latest technology for access to the internet.

All this has contributed to the constantly improving placement records at the Delhi School of Management, within the DTU. Some of the key recruiters in recent seasons include the likes of – HCL, Vivo, Genpact, Yes Bank, Amazon and India mart amongst others. It has also been securing extremely high ranks across all platforms. It has been accorded rank 70th among all the universities in India and 100th overall by the NIRF (National Institutional Rankings Framework). The Careers 360 magazine has also rated it as the 29th best among MBA institutions. It has also been accredited by the NAAC (National Assessments and Accreditation Council).
