36 MonthsB.A. (H) Economics programme at the Delhi Technological University's East Delhi Campus provides a sound understanding of core, pure and applied economics. The three-year programme is structured in 6 semesters. While students study economics in considerable depth in this specialized degree, students also employ ideas and techniques from many other disciplines too; including econometrics, mathematics and statistics, and other ability enhancement courses. Apart from building core knowledge in economics, the course permits students to adopt electives of their interest in finance and management subjects. The programme is designed as per the varying interests and career ambitions in the emerging areas of economics. Therefore, our graduates are extremely well qualified for a wide range of jobs and further courses.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in 12th board examination from a recognized board and must also have passed Mathematics as a subject in the 12th Board Examination. Those who are appearing in the examination may also apply, provided that they submit the proof of eligibility by a specific date declared by the University.
Admission Details
The merit list shall be drawn on the basis of best of four subjects (including Mathematics) in XII Board examination or its equivalent examination. Vocational courses (as specified in the CBSE list) will not recognized in the best four subjects.
