BA Political Science Hons with Research at Graphic Era University, Dehradun Offline Course

The 4-year BA in Political Science (Hons) with Research program is an undergraduate program designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of political science, its theories, institutions, and global politics, along with a strong emphasis on research-oriented subjects. This extended program offers students the flexibility to choose between a standard 3-year BA in Political Science (Hons) and the 4-year BA in Political Science (Hons) with Research option. 

During the initial three years, students enrolled in both the 3-year and 4-year programs will follow the same curriculum. The core courses cover a wide range of topics, including political science, public administration, history, economics, and psychology. Students will study political institutions, political behavior, ideologies, and political systems. The curriculum also explores the role of political parties, civil society, social movements, and political leaders. Moreover, the interaction between politics and society, along with issues of identity, class, racism, and gender, will be examined. The curriculum includes advanced courses such as Political Psychology, Human Rights, Environmental Politics, and more. 

In the fourth year of the BA in Political Science (Hons) with Research program, students will have the opportunity to specialize in research-oriented subjects. This research-centric approach equips students with valuable skills in conducting independent research, analyzing political issues, and developing solutions to complex problems. Additionally, students will focus on refining their critical thinking, writing, and communication skills, making them valuable contributors to any organization.
