College Infrastructure
NIT Uttarakhand Campus has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities that should be available in every college. It also has laboratories, library, sport grounds, etc. In hostel, we also have mostly all the sports equipments. It includes table tennis, badminton, etc. The food is average with respect to all other colleges.
Academics
I am studying B.Tech branch here. I am pursuing Computer Science here. Quality of teaching is good. Teaching quality is same as the other NIT colleges in India. The curriculum is not updated every year, but up to some extent, it is updated. It makes us job-ready, it has a decent average package placement.
Placements
It has a good placement. Placements are better than almost every private institutions in India and are better than some other NIT colleges in India. For my branch i.e., CSE, it has an average placement package of 7-8 lakhs per annum. Highest placement last year was offered to CSE branch candidate with an annual package of Rs.10.5 lakhs. Placements are held in several rounds and the college is also supportive during placements.
Value-for-money
Normally, the fee is around 1.75-2 lakhs per year. But I was offered a concession on the basis of my financial background and thus for me it became around 80-90 thousands per year. It also includes hostel fee per year. For me, the fee is reliable. But as a whole, the fee is more than that of some other NITs.
Campus Life
The campus life is also good. There are not much restrictions for students living in hostels. There are various activities where students can involve round a year, but the main event is its annual event "Cliffesto". It is held every year in the month of February. All the staff is supportive but sometimes non academic staff becomes rude towards students. Now, since it is moved to a new location, it is now safe. In the previous years, at its old location there has been some accidents but is safe.
Anything Else
Overall the college is good. And the hostel life is average with respect to other reputed colleges in India.

College Infrastructure
Our college is the best ever college in our area. As we all know the NIT always have its standard. The infrastructure of our college is so good and the facilities provided with both our college and hostels are amazing. The living space is so clean and the food is hygienic in canteens too.
Academics
I have studied B.Tech Mechanical Engineering because i loved mechanical from my childhood and studied hard and smart and secured good marks. Quality of teaching is so good and the staffs working here are well experienced one.
Placements
The quality of placements is awesome at our colleges. Many placements cells are maintained for the students enrich in both soft skill and technical working. Obviously 100% students were placed with the highest salary package of 35 LPA and the average salary package of 8 LPA.

College Infrastructure
Yes , every facility is available but in a limited access .You can't count large no of play grounds , lecture halls , activity rooms here . Hostels are clean , WiFi is quite good too , Mess food is so so , have quite good library where u can find the books u need actually , access to sports equipment is very good here as compared to other clgs.
Academics
Quality of teaching is somehow like that only what u expect from the institute of National importance , you can connect to faculty members easily . Teachers influence us to go for competitive exams took
Placements
What is in the past , leave that . From now , all placements realted activities will held up in Rishikesh ( plane area) rather than at Srinagar ( hilly region) where companies find difficulties to travel. Avg. Package in 2019 was greater than 6 lakhs .
Value-for-money
See silence and peace has its own importance , which u can feel here . Never choose if u wanna come to clg for Clubs , nightsbars , parties , fun ,etc.
Campus Life
People's make life beautiful and u can feel this here

As for the current infrastructure, it isn’t too bad either. The library is very well maintained, complete with a reading room and a book bank. Lecture halls are well ventilated, and all computer labs are air conditioned. The campus is fully wi-fi enabled. There are 6 hostels for boys, and 2 for girls, all of which are quite comfortable and cosy. The messes are decent too; students don’t normally complain about the quality of food, which isn’t something you see everywhere.Although the usual suspects like TCS, Patni, Capgemini, Accenture, etc visit campus and offer jobs in bulk, there are also a number of unique recruiters, especially for the core departments like Mechanical and Civil. About 90% of students get placed every year, and most of them in jobs of their choice. Regular recruiters, apart from the usual ones, include HCL, Maruti, Tata Motors, Powerwave, IOCL, Renault, Stone India, etc. Internships are at a premium. Very few are offered, and even they don’t really pay too well. Most companies that pick up students for internships are local firms.

Starting with the first concern academics. Being a NIT, studies here are much of a fun than burden. All faculties are highly experienced and talented, the way they teach reveals it out. But this may vary from student to student . Institution is being continuously improved to the level where you can compete everyone out there. The placement part is improving day by day. The introduction of Masters has increased chances of more and more PBC's to visit the college. The hostel is something where you may have compromise. With no permanent campus 4-6 student are forced to live in a single room ( but you'll survive it's fun). The mess food no talks, you all know what it's like. The location of institute make it a perfect place for studies . love extra curricular and sports the institute is there for you.

College life is one such journey which one wants it to be never ending. The atmosphere here is just amazing. The peer group is healthy and is always competitive. Moreover, faculties are not that much good, what is expected. We have one of the leading lab facilities. The infrastructure of the college is overwhelming. College has all sports equipment, grounds, spacious classrooms, vast library, wifi throughout the campus. Students here are involved in many extracurricular activities along with academics too.The placement is also good and is increasing day by day.

Relatively small in size having 30 students in each department. The small number makes it possible for the highly-qualified faculty to give individual attention to each student. At the moment, NIT functions from its temporary campus at Government Polytechnic Srinagar Garhwal.

Though it is the new NIT but still it is providing facilities up to the large extent but it lags in terms of placement. the highest package is low as compared to another NIT. In 2015, it was 9 lac to one student but this year till now it is around 6 lacs. But a lot of scope for improvement in coming years. The faculty is good though young. hostels are not good. In 1 year 6 people living in one room but in 2nd and 3rd year no is less.

It was established earlier in 2010 with ten newly established NIT's. It is situated in Garhwal at Srinagar, Uttarakhand. Our director sir is well known for his flexibility and supportive nature among students. We have got some good placements also in recent years. Our college struggled a lot due to its location and natural calamity in 2013, but we are now doing well in every field. We have got good faculty members in different branches. Students are working hard to achieve their goals. Extracurricular activities are organised time to time in order to improve the interaction with students and society.Students are sent to industrial visits every year in order to be updated with new aspects of practical life. At last, I would say that I have the best place for my academic session where pollution is zero and a great opportunity to grow up.

Our college national institute of technology Uttarakhand. It is a national institute of importance, still we are facing few problems regarding infrastructure. But we have knowledgeable faculty members who work hard to improve the condition of students. We are given good and equal opportunity to develop our theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Extracurricular activities are organized time to time in order to keep students busy in some other aspects other than engineering. I think if we have good support from the government and the local population, we can be among the top colleges in India. At last, I would say that yes, We are proud to be NITIANS.

They focus on both, academics and extra-curricular activities. The faculty is good and they taught us well. But the syllabus is a bit outdated and they do not update it on a regular basis. They have a huge campus and a good amount of sports facilities are available. Atmosphere here doesn't suit everyone as it is hot almost throughout the year and humid too. This college has a large number of technical and sports clubs to develop your skills and talent. i recommend this college for sure
