72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by Graphic Era University, Dehradun. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
Master’s Degree from any AIU/UGC/AICTE recognized University/ Institutions or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by the University. A minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale for SC/ST candidates).
Admission Details
Admission is based on the GEU Entrance Test Merit /Candidates qualified with M.Phil./GATE/NET/SLET/other National Level Eligibility Test OR working in recognized Universities/Institutes/Research centers having hands-on research experience and having the evidence of published research work can be exempted from written test and they have to appear for the interview only.
