72 MonthsPh.D. program in Biotechnology shall be for a minimum duration of three years and Half-Year. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, offered by GSFC University, Vadodara.
Eligibility Criteria
M.Sc. / M.Phil. (in Biotechnology in regular mode only) with a minimum of 55% aggregate, considered for provisional admission to the Ph.D. Program.
Admission Details
Merit-Based
Candidates who intend to be admitted for a Ph.D. have to apply in a prescribed format through GSFC University’s admission department. On the receipt of applications, an entrance test will be conducted for the eligible candidates irrespective of the number of applications received, which will be followed by an interview by a Doctoral Committee of the GSFC University.
Scientists / Professionals with a minimum of 5 Years of experience and at least one publication in a refereed journal OR with a minimum of 10 years of experience working in the Government of India / State Government / Corporate Bodies / Laboratories may directly appear for interview subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria.
