Master of Arts (MA) in Journalism and Mass Communication is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.


Eligibility Criteria

Provided the candidate fulfils age and other norms laid down by the University, and is a Graduate with a minimum of 48 credits in Major subject, 48 credits in two minor subjects, 9 credits in compulsory, 1 credit in GI & hobby with aggregate of 106 credits for the award of pass degree.

OR

A minimum of 50% mar ks (45% in a case of SC./ST. ) in aggregate in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a University established by law in India shall be eligible to apply for the Entrance Test.

Admission Details

Admission shall be strictly based on the merit obtained in Entrance Test to be conducted by the University.
