ICFAI University, Sikkim was established under Section 4(2) of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Sikkim Act 9 of 2004 passed by the Legislative Assembly of Sikkim. The university is located in Gangtok, Sikkim. ICFAI University Sikkim is approved by UGC. The Bar Council of India has granted approval for offering a 5-year B.B.A L.L.B (Hons.), B.A L.L.B (Hons.) and 3-year L.L.B programmes at the university.
ICFAI University Sikkim offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various streams that include management and business administration, hospitality and tourism, computer application and information technology, commerce, law, sciences, education, arts humanities and social sciences. Students pursuing UG and PG programmes at the ICFAI University Sikkim will get merit scholarships. ICFAI University Sikkim scholarships are given based on academic performance in class 12th/Graduation and semester wise performance in the programme. The merit scholarships are given to the students based on their past academic performance in class 12th. The ICFAI University Sikkim scholarship will be continued semester after semester if the student maintains a minimum 8.0 GPA. ICFAI University Sikkim offers merit scholarships to those students who are pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. ICFAI University Sikkim scholarships are awarded based on academic performance in Class XII (or equivalent)/Graduation (or equivalent) and semester-wise performance in the Programme.
A. Merit Scholarships based on the Past academic performance: Percentage of marks achieved in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) will decide the amount of scholarship. ICFAI University Sikkim Scholarship will continue semester after semester only on maintaining the minimum 8.0 GPA.
B. Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance: Merit scholarships will be awarded to up to 10% of the students in the batch based on their Semester-wise performance. These merit scholarships are offered in addition to those based on their past academic performance.
