ICFAI University Tripura was established in 2004 by an Act of State Legislature (Tripura Act 8 of 2004). ICFAI University Tripura is popularly known as IU Tripura. ICFAI University Tripura is accredited with ‘B+’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The mission of IU Tripura is to promote world-class education to the students. The Tripura campus is spread across 32 acres of land in the Tripura state of India. IU Tripura offers different facilities to the students and faculty members such as hostel facilities, cafeteria facility. ICFAI University Tripura offers courses at UG, PG, integrated, diploma, postgraduate diploma, M.Phil and Ph.D level. ICFAI University Tripura Facilities and Infrastructure

The Tripura campus has classrooms that are well-equipped with modern facilities. The university has a library. Students can visit the library whenever they are free and can gather knowledge. The Tripura campus has different laboratories for different subjects. Hostel facilities are also provided to the boys and girls students. IU Tripura facilities also include canteen facilities which is a perfect place for the students to hang out with their friends. Sports facilities such as cricket, football, carrom, etc are available for the students. The Tripura campus provides facilities for medical facilities for an emergency, a gymnasium for the students’ physical fitness, transportation to cater to the travelling needs and a Wi-Fi facility to the students of IU Tripura.

ICFAI University Tripura Admission

ICFAI University Tripura admission to all programmes will be merit-based except for the B.E/B.Tech and M.B.A courses. Students have to give IUTAT or appear in any national or state-level entrance test such as JEE Main/TJEE for admission in B.E/B.Tech course. Candidates have to register for ICFAI University Tripura admission portal.
For UG level courses, students will be selected based on the marks secured in 10+2 examination and for PG level courses, students should qualify a bachelor’s examination.
Counselling is a must for all students.
Students have to be present at IU Tripura for a personal interview that will be conducted by the ICFAI University Tripura admissions team.

ICFAI University Tripura Admission Process for B.E/B.Tech and M.B.A Courses

Fill the ICFAI University Tripura application form.
Appear for IUTAT/JEE Main/TJEE or any other state entrance examination for B.E/B.Tech course.
For the M.B.A course, appear for ICFAI University Tripura Admission Test conducted by the IU Tripura admission team. CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT qualified students will be exempted from giving the ICFAI University Tripura Admission Test.

In our university the facilities are average although infrastructure was good. The classes was good.there was lack of problems like we can't able to use college wifi in our respected classes. The network was too slow.

If I talk about college structure , as a private they maintained it well. Have A big library and Also Park. Mini zoo in there too. Hostel facility quite good but I don't know about their Mass. If I sum up , There are not single collage exist in the state except NIT.

The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) University, Tripura Act 2004 (Act No. 8 of 2004), as amended by the Government of Tripura Notification No. F.2 (529)-DHE/UDCA/2003 on June 15, 2003, provided the legal framework for the establishment of the ICFAI University, Tripura.

So, ICFAI University Tripura is not fake. According to students review -

Infrastructure- In B.Sc. course, the labs are good for the practicals. They also don't miss any classes, care for the students, and are very strict about everyone having a 75% attendance rate. Hostel accommodations are excellent, food quality is average, and there are amenities for sports, recreation, and health care.

Faculty: All of the instructors are very informed and highly trained. And instruction is of high quality. Quite good, but not much. M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees are required for curriculum relevance. The majority of students can then do whatever they choose with their chosen course. It's quite challenging; the average student's SGPA ranged from 5 to 7. 80% of students passed their tests.

Placement - 50% of the students from our course got placed. The lowest compensation was 2 lakhs per year, the average was 4.5 lakhs, and the maximum was 8 lacs. We must select our personal passion for this B.Sc. Physics Honors course. Therefore, the majority of students choose the teaching profession, and some choose to pursue higher education, such as an M.Sc. or Ph.D., before joining the research community or finding employment as a professor in a college. About 50–60% of students received internships. PGT teachers, professors, researchers, or some students pursue careers in fields of their own choosing or visit businesses to apply for positions.

So it’s up to you , if you study harder than you’ll definitely can get decent placement.
