48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Data Science and Engineering is an undergraduate programme with a duration of 4 years (8 semesters) offered by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal. The programme aims to provide young motivated individuals with a rigorous training, desired level of scientific understanding, and a glimpse of global contemporary research at an early stage to enable them to pursue a career in science education and research.
At the end of their first year of studies, a limited number of students are allowed to migrate to another stream/programme, subject to the availability of seats in the respective stream and the student's academic performance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Admission to the B.Tech. programme is managed by the duly constituted Joint Admissions Committee (JAC) of the IISERs. Admission takes place once a year, exclusively through the IISER Aptitude Test.
- Candidates who have passed (10+2) level with Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics with marks equal or above 60% (55% for SC / ST / PwD Categories) from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India, are eligible to apply.
- Indian nationals / OCI / PIO / Foreign Nationals candidates are eligible to apply for IISER Aptitude Test.
