72 MonthsPh.D in Ph.D Physics Integrated programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 on a 10 point scale. Candidates appearing in the final year examination of their Bachelor's Degree in highly encouraged to apply. Additionally, the applicants should qualify the nationwide aptitude test, Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) in Physics.
- JEST is mandatory for applying to Integrated Ph.D. program in Physics at IISER Bhopal starting Academic Year. To apply for the Integrated Ph.D. program in Physics at IISER Bhopal, you are required to have qualified JEST or you need to appear for JEST. Candidates will be shortlisted for a written test to be conducted at IISER Bhopal on the basis of their JEST rank.
Admission Details
Admissions to the Integrated Ph.D. programme will be through JEST followed by Interview held at IISER Bhopal.
