The Institute offers Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The students seeking admission in Ph.D. programme should have a master’s degree (M.Tech./M.E./M.S./M.Sc.) from any reputed institute approved by AICTE. Additionally, candidate must have qualified GATE, preferably in engineering discipline (however, a valid GATE score is not mandatory).

  • Exceptional and highly motivated candidates with B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering (GATE qualified) may also apply for Ph.D. programme.

Admission Details

Admission Based on national level entrance test such as GATE/NET/DBT/JEST/ICMAR (or any other national level examination) and will be selected through an interview process.
