its depend to which board or council u belong to . so please follow the given below site ....

i hope it will help you out :)

Well though I've not given the previous year paper but being a JEE counselor and an ardent follower of JEE, I can easily say that at 90 marks you have not even a slight of hope to crack a seat at IIT. Even I guess not even 140 marks would suffice,

So I would say that don't get swayed by just qualifiying the paper, it acually won't help.

(this particular statement holds fof General and OBC category)

You need to score more than 100-110 atleast to secure a seat at the IISER.You can also get admission over there with your jee advance rank.If your jee advance rank is within 10000 you can apply. And for the exam you need to score good. The exam is not too difficult if all your concepts are clear.

Regarding your touch with maths, try to revise all the topics of class 11 and 12.You can follow some of the books like differential calculus by Amit M Agarwal and many more books of different topis of Arihant.

Best of luck.Study hard. You will definitely do well.

Dear Aditya, any candidate with a valid disability has to select the option while filling the application form. Once the results have been released they are released based on the candidate's score and category he/she belongs to. And the final merit list is also prepared on the basis of same rules. Now it is too late to claim for pwd relaxation.

Hi. SCB is the state board channel to get admitted to IIScERs. The cutoffs depend on your board of study. If you could mention your board, I could tell you the respective cutoff.

Best of Luck!

There are three channels of admission. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through these channels.

1- Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel

2- Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE) channel

3-State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel

No!! You can get into IISERs through jee advance.Candidates in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2018 are eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to reserved category (OBCNC, SC, ST, PD), their category rank should be within 10000.

All the best

Through KVPY channel, the candidates having valid KVPY fellowship from year 2019-20 can apply for admissions. Throgh SCB channel the admission is possible for you as you have passed the exam in 2018. You will be considered to apply for the degree programs only if you have your 10+2 cutoff marks. You can know the cutoff marks for your category here on the website mentioned below.

One more thing is that if you are applying throgh the SCN channel then you have to appear for IISER Aptitude Test (IAT).
