IISER TVM Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

IISER TVM  is a residential institute. The institute has a separate hostel for boys. The institute has double-bedded hostels blocks on the permanent campus. IISER TVM facilities include furnished rooms, common study, table, chair, common tv room etc. ATM facility is also available for the students on campus.

IISER TVM has a separate hostel for girls to meet their accommodation needs. Each room in the hostel are furnished and have two single bed, common study, etc. Also, the institute has a cooperative store for the purchase of stationery and other general items.

The Institute has a medical centre that provides round-the-clock medical facilities catering to the medical requirements of the students, faculty and staff. To handle the emergency cases, an ambulance facility is available 24/7.  At the time of admission, each student is given medical insurance to exclude financial problems and to provide prime medical support.

IISER TVM has a gym with all the modern equipment to cater to the physical needs of the students.

IISER TVM has a well-established library consisting of books, monographs, reference books such as manuals, encyclopedias etc. The library has books on subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Computer Science.

The institute offers various sports facilities for indoor and outdoor sports. Students are constantly encouraged to participate in sports activities and sports events.

IISER TVM  has a computer laboratory for integrated MS students that has more than 50 workstations. For teaching and research purposes, a Linux cluster of 120 nodes is available.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram has a spacious auditorium which is the venue for all the events that take place in the institute.

Students, faculty and staff members are provided by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram through its own fleet of buses to nearby bus depots, railway stations, markets and nearby towns.

The college has a good networking for alumni association.

IISER TVM has state-of-the-art and well-equipped laboratories. For undergraduate students, the computer laboratory has more than 50 workstations.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram has a convenience store where students can purchase stationery materials and also photocopy facility is available.
