The University Library was established in 1958. This is a unique library in the country devoted primarily to the study and research of Indian Classical Music and the Visual arts. The State Library of Khairagarh, called the Edward Library, was merged with the Janpad Library, and later the Janpad Library was merged into the university library; therefore, this library has a very useful and rare collection of books on contemporary history, literature, and other disciplines. Our university was recognized by the UGC in 1971. After receiving UGC grants, the University library began to develop more quickly. The separate library building was constructed during the sixth five-year plan with 100% U.G.C. grants.
The university has a rich collection of audiovisual material which includes 1600+ Gramophone Records, 2900+ Audio Cassettes, Audio books for Blind Students, 300+ Spool Tapes, a significant number of microfilms, video tapes, ACDs, VCDs, etc. The University signed an MoU with IGNCA as a partnering institution for the National Cultural Audiovisual Archive (NCAA) project, in which audiovisual materials of our university are easily accessible to all.
The University has a proven legacy of success in the Performing and Visual Arts. The university has three distinct Auditoriums. The Durbar Hall, Raja Birendra Bahadur Singh Ji Hall, and Rani Padmavati Devi Auditorium for Theatre Arts.
The university has one canteen on campus that serves hygienic food to everyone. It serves snacks and beverages. A fragrance of Indian foods, along with staple items like noodles, cheese, Maggi, and various parathas, wafts through the air, teasing hungry stomachs. Between classes, students and faculty alike gather for a refreshing cup of chai and healthy, delicious Indian, Chinese, and many other snacks.
The University has an excellent IT infrastructure for the students. The Computer Centre, also the University's Knowledge Network, provides 100 Mbps internet connectivity under the National Knowledge Network (NKN) Project via Local Area Network (LAN) and Wi-Fi across the University. With an adequate number of dedicated computer systems for students and researchers, the Computer Centre also conducts short-term computer awareness/literacy programs for all students, researchers, and University Staff. The Centre provides and shares the necessary information about IT and ITES. The Centre helps students gain an edge in IT and ITES over their counterparts.
Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya also has a fitness gym equipped with basic fitness equipment. The gym helps in providing students with a structured space to recharge and channel their energy constructively.
The university has sports facilities for all students. There are many indoor and outdoor games and sports facilities for the students to help them with fitness.
The University has a Bank of Maharashtra ATM located at the main entrance.
The University has 3 Guest Houses with a total of 14 Rooms. The Guest House provides accommodation for guests of the university visiting for various purposes.

My college is well-equipped with all amenities – separate hostels for boys and girls, library with a special section dedicated to help the visually challenged students, auditorium, canteen, computer centre with good speed Wifi, an ATM as well as a reqlly nice sound studio.
