I like the infrastructure as all the departments are well maintained, it has canteen where you can have snacks in affordable price best for us students, even with just rupees 10 you can have complete lunch, even there us a amul icecream parlour. The classrooms are neat and clean. Also since the campus spread over almost 1000 acres it has many natural spots too. There is sports area, library, auditorium, girls and boys hostel also available, recently a very pretty saraswati mandir is also being built (in process).

Teachers are very frank and its like teaching is their passion so they make sure everything is explained in the best way possible. Teachers are really helpful with studies. My teacher even gives homeworks to be done like a school student.

As a student of economics honours who has just started 1st year i don't have much knowledge regarding the placements.. but as far i have heard the tech departments may get some placement but for me as a b.a. student its very rare.

As a central university, the fees are minimum, and hence i agree that it is value for money, it also provides scholarship facilities for the needy students. As a b.a. economics honours students my each semester of 6 months costs 4000 to 6000 rupees only. And seeing the dedicated teachers i feel that it is value for money.

Personally i love the natural beauty of this place even though due to infrastructure upgradation the greenery is reducing but still it feels the best during rainy season. It has several ponds too and several types of butterflies can be found in this greenery. The watchmen or guards are everywhere hence it is almost safe to roam around for a while even when emergency arrives people are helping in nature..

I do recommend this college as this is a central university and A+++ grade , people of Chhattisgarh and nearby states can definitely enroll here if they want to go to central university as cuet cut offs are lower as compared to DU or BHU , it has almost all types of courses available.

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya has a pretty decent campus spread over a large green area. The classrooms are average not very fancy. New building are quite good in condition and the canteen serves decent food.

The Guru ghasidas offer varities of courses from engineering to management to arts and sciences. the academic structure are defined in well organised manner focuses on both theoretical and practical.

placements of our college is a bit average. For mainstream courses like B.Tech, MBA, and MCA, a few companies come for campus placement of hiring freshers students. And the placement cell is need to be more active.

The college infrastructure lacked in a few areas in my time. The washrooms were dirty, the WiFi was bad. Everything else was good, there were good libraries. We had just one old buliding for our course but as of now it has been upgraded and shifted to a new building.

The academics were top notch. My professors were the best that one could get. They were very knowledgeable and professional with great attitude towards teaching and learning. The quality of teaching was appropriate.

There was zero company for placements. We had no job opportunity after graduation but we were certainly offered to do masters program. College was very supportive for any opportunity that was outside their criteria. They helped find us those.

It's a good college and the environment is too good. It is located outside the main city so lesser noise and air pollution.

There were fests and other events organised regularly.

My college is extremely beautiful with great infrastructure and a big campus with greenery filled around. Our classrooms are well equipped with all the facilities. We have hostel and mess facilities also for both boys and girls.

The academics of my college is extremely good, and we follow the latest syllabus. The professors are also very engaging and interactive and always try to explain both the theoretical and practical as aspects of the subjects.

The placement cell of my college is good, and we have decent placement offers at the end of the years. Very renowned companies provide placement offers in our college. The average package range between 4-5 LPA.

It is definitely value for money university.

Infrastructure is also improving; earlier, there were not proper individual buildings for each department, but now they are under construction. And the infrastructure will be good after one year. The first-year class will be held in old buildings and the second-year class will be in new buildings for all engineering departments. There is free Wi-Fi inside the library, in hostels and inside the departments; you have to register for that.

All the teachers are very helpful and qualified. Almost all the faculty members have done their Ph.Ds from well known IITs or NITs. In semester exams, questions are of GATE level in some subjects, and in some subjects, universities level questions are asked.

The Placement and Training cell has been indeed working hard for the last two years to improve the placement scenario at the university. Not only students are getting placed with notable PSUs and Government embodiments but also have got into reputed tech firms like Microsoft, American Express, etc.
