ITM Vocational University, located in Gujarat, is a part of the ITM Group of Institutions, which was founded in 1991 in Mumbai. The ITM Group has established campuses in various cities including Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Vishakhapatnam, Warangal, and Nagpur, and is planning to open new campuses in Noida and Vadodara. In March 2014, the Government of Gujarat officially approved ITM Vocational University as a Private University, making it India's first truly Vocational University.

ITM Vocational University is located near Ajwa Nimeta Road, Ravaal. The distance of the university from the Vadodara railway station is 26km. It takes approx 45 minutes via Ahwa Road to reach the university.
