Kerala University of Health Sciences admissions are offered at undergraduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral level programmes. Candidates must first meet the eligibility criteria before applying for admissions at the university. Once the eligibility criteria is met, candidates have to appear for entrance tests like NEET for admission to B.A.M.S, B.S.M.S, B.U.M.S, B.D.S and M.B.B.S programmes. The university accepts scores of the qualifying exam in order to prepare merit list to shortlist the candidates for  B.Sc., B.P.T and B.A.S.L.P programme admissions.

According to KUHS, Thrissur admission criteria for M.Sc., M.H.A, M.P.T, M.Optom, M.A.S.L.P, M.D, M.S, M.D.S programmes, candidates are selected on the basis of merit scores of the qualifying exam. Merit scores of NEET PG are considered for M.D and M.S programme admissions. Kerala University of Health Sciences Scholarships

The scholarships which students can avail at Kerala University of Health Sciences are Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities, Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses, Financial Support to the Students of NER for Higher Professional Courses (NEC Merit Scholarship), Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students and many more. These are the central government scholarships and to avail these scholarships, candidates have to apply on the National Scholarship Portal. It must be noted that candidates must meet the eligibility criteria before applying for the scholarships.

As per the Kerala University of Health Sciences scholarship criteria, those candidates who are eligible for the scholarships and have availed for the same are granted the scholarship amount.
