Crescent College of Nursing, Palakkad, an affiliated college started in 2006, is situated at Venganniyur, Althur PO, Palakkad District, Kerala. The institute that is affiliated to, the Indian Nursing Council, offers three nursing programmes at the UG and PG levels. Having a 5-acre campus, the college enrols an estimated 164 students and is managed by 18 faculty members. The vision of Crescent College of Nursing is to produce health care professionals in the field of nursing who would rise to the challenge of meeting the healthcare demands of the future.

Crescent College of Nursing is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS). The college has a variety of facilities that are intended to improve the educational experience of the students. Thus, it can be used as a good source of tutoring literature and the variety of materials that can be found in the library. To address these issues adequately, the college has embraced anticipated technology by providing IT facilities to enable the students to address the universality of applied technologies in Healthcare. The campus also has an indoor space in the form of an auditorium used in events and seminars within the campus and the college fraternity. Fully equipped modern laboratories provide students with practical experience in a realistic scenario environment. In order for student guests, faculty members on sabbatical, and other visitors to seek comfort, the college offers guest rooms and waiting room amenities.

Crescent College of Nursing offers three full-time courses: B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) are some of the courses offered by these schools. The student intake for the 44-yearundergraduate degree in B.Sc Nursing is 50 students as approved. The four-year GNM programme accepts twenty students annually, as mentioned above. These programmes are characterised by an attempt to deliver both,  strong theoretical background and pragmatic experience, which allows students to have a successful professional activity in different healthcare facilities.
