Annoor Dental College and Hospital was established in 2002, is one of the leading and reputed dental college in Muvattupuzha, Kerala. Located in an 8.61 acre land, this affiliated college is certified by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by Dental Council of India (DCI). The college has 298 students enroled and 202 faculty members and provides 8 courses at 3 different degree levels. The institute boasts a diverse student body with a female-to-male ratio of 6.35:1, of which 85% are undergraduate and 15% postgraduate students.

Annoor Dental College offers facilities with the view of improving learning for the students of the college. The hostels for boys and girls are provided separately along with 24-hour security, round the clock water supply, and electricity with backup generators. The college has a fully furnished library situated on the second floor of college building; the library has a collection of more than three thousand books and different section for U.G and P.G students. The college also has a health centre that has basic first aid services for the illness and injuries students, staff and other members of the college might seek. For sports as well as recreation, the campus is equipped with basketball, volleyball, football, badminton and athletic court.

Annoor Dental College and Hospital provides a total of 8 courses. At present, the institute offers one undergraduate programme (BDS), six postgraduate programmes (MDS in different disciplines), and Doctor of Philosophy (Dentistry). All the course are day time only where BDS is a five year programme and both the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes each take three years. The BDS programme has the total approved intake of 50 students and the MDS specialisation offers 3 seats per specialisation on average. The specialisation offered in MDS include Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Oral Pathology and Oral Microbiology, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, and Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry.

Annoor Dental College and Hospital has its own rules for admission, but they follow rules and regulation by different authorities and universities. BDS programme admissions follows the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) rank list adopted from the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). NEET MDS has been introduced for admission to postgraduate level MDS course.
