Doctor of Philosophy(Ph.D.) program in Applied Chemistry shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate for admission to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) must have obtained the Masters's degree with at least 55 percent marks at the postgraduate examination of the University or an equivalent examination recognized by the University in the subject or any allied subject in which he/she wishes to pursue research. If the candidate secures less than 55 percent marks at the postgraduate examination but has secured second division at the postgraduate as well as degree level, he/she will be eligible for admission to Ph.D. Program.
