48 MonthsBachelor of Performing Arts (Hons) / BPA (Hons) programs are of 4 years duration that are ideal for full-time students and those seeking to make Performing Arts their future career. In addition to theory and practical in the chosen dance form, electives like India Studies, Ancient History, music, vadya, theatre; Ability Enhancement courses like languages, yoga; are taught to the learners. The learners will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the allied subjects and art forms while presenting a good command on the artistic and academic aspects of the chosen art form. Students can take up research in the final year of the BPA (Hons) Degree and enrich their intellectual interests in addition to acquiring the artistic skills of the dance form.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate should have passed minimum class XII with minimum 50% and past training in chosen dance for minimum 5 years in recent years.
- Students who are pursuing UDBHAV of MAHAGAMI GURUKUL or MADHYAMA of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay or equivalent can apply.
