Build in1970s that's why not good but still better than other government colleges. College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Jabalpur was established to impart education in different branches of veterinary and fisheries and allied sciences. The institute aims to provide for the advancement of learning and prosecution of research in veterinary and fisheries sciences. The objective of the institute is to undertake the extension of such sciences to the rural people.
