Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. and A.H.), is a five-year and six-month basic qualification for practicing as a qualified veterinary practitioner in India and is essential for being recognized by the apex professional body (Veterinary Council of India) controlling Veterinary graduate education and practice. B.V.Sc. and A.H. course is offered by Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur.


Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate should have passed the 12 standards with science or any other equivalent examination recognized by concerned State Governments and Education boards, provided the candidate passes the examination with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Admission Details

Candidates for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. courses under the NRI quota should carefully read the rules for admission before submitting the application form. Incorrect/false information may lead to cancellation of admission and the candidate will be liable to face legal action.

The eligibility for admission under the NRI Quota seats will be the NRI candidate himself/herself or the children of the NRI. Sponsorship from NRI relatives other than Father/Mother will not be considered.
